I must tell you of a horrific incident I witnessed a few days ago. A bicycle ridden by a gentleman of pensionable age was travelling out of Coombs Rd. turning 270* and into Droitwich Rd. The cyclist was signalling appropriately. After 180*, a Ron Sims Van, travelling along Bilford Rd. arrived at the roundabout, but instead of giving way to the cyclist continued, heading for an inevitable collision. The cyclist reacted by braking and screaming a warning to the van driver. The van driver stopped, just in time, and a collision was avoided, but only because the cyclist was alert to scream a warning. Sounding a bell would have been totally futile. The van driver seemed hell bent on driving right into the cyclist. The driver of this vehicle should be firmly reprimanded and reminded that any vehicle on a roundabout, be it a bicycle or double decker bus, has priority over any other not yet having entered. In this case the van driver had absolutely NO intention of giving way to anyone.

A fabulous team and excellent service from initial phone call to the completed job. Professional, clean, tidy with everything communicated at every stage. Could not recommend them enough.

I used this company following asking for quotes from local companies via the Worcester Bosch website. My job request consisted of fitting the new boiler, changing the TRVs on the radiators, flushing the system etc. etc. Can't fault the guys who installed the boiler, however, the TRVs weren't changed despite their quote including them being changed. A couple of weeks after the boiler was installed the old TRVs started causing problems - very noisy, waking me up at night & two of them shut off completely in between Christmas & New Year meaning I had no heating in the lounge. When I contacted the company they quoted twice as much to come out & change the TRVs than was on their original quote - even though it was their error that they didn't do them when installing the boiler. The chap in the office is hard to get hold of, more than 2 weeks to get a response to my e-mail querying the cost & never received an apology, just a revised quote which was still more than all the other companies in the area were quoting. Such a shame as I was happy to support a local company, but their customer service is non-existent.

We needed to move house and were looking at a property some four hours away from our current location. Not knowing the area or the reputation of any local businesses that could help or trust to act for us over such a distance, I was fortunate to come across this company local to the property. We needed a quotation for a complete central heating system change over with additional works to install tanks, underfloor heating etc. We needed independent advice on the best new system to install and we needed it very quickly regarding a house move we have been looking at, so time was important. Despite a heavy workload with the Covid crisis, John Simms made a space in his diary to meet our agent on site within a couple of days. Not only that we had a meeting whilst he was on site using Facebook where he was very thorough in checking what we were looking to achieve and making certain recommendations from site so we could see the issues he had identified and the solutions he proposed. Within 48 hours we had his very detailed estimate and costings, together with suggestions to move forward. Throughout John showed us why his company has such a good reputation, his quick and efficient handling of our requirements prove that there are still companies out there who provide good old fashioned service, who do what they say when they say it. Therefore I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone who is looking for a service lead by a man, who not only understands the meaning good customer service but actual practices it too in a very professional manner. I would have no hesitation in using or recommending the this company.

Dont use this company. said they knew nothing about vokera boilers, misdiagnosed the problem telling the the cost of new parts wasnt worth it and then tried to persuade me to have a new boiler supplied and fitted by them. Luckily I got a Vokera engineer out who knew what he was talking about and got the job done for under £200.

i bought a house rewired by this firm one year previously. I'm a qualified electrician. This rewire should NEVER have been passed by their inspector. It's appalling and dangerous. From the inconvenience of poor fitting non functioning sockets to live cables left un-terminated under the floor boards and space by light switches that an adult could easily get their fingers in behind the switch and be electrocuted. I am in the throws of reporting this company to the NICEIC. I wouldn't let them in my front door to rectify the problem if they offered. They even used some old cable in the 're-wire'. An absolute disgrace to the profession.

When our boiler stopped working, Ron came over, looked at our system and then make a recommendation that was best for our system rather than what would be most profitable for him. I was really impressed by this. They then installed the new boiler and the workmen were friendly, efficient and did a really good job. They kept me updated throughout the job whilst I was at work as well.I would recommend this company.
