St Edward the Confessor RC Church, Golders Green

I've been going there on Sundays since March 2023. It's Priest the best I've ever met and the church is so beautiful.

I hired the large hall for a gathering of over 100 people. Kitchen facilities are magnificent and include industrial grade ovens, sinks, fridge-freezer, dish washer etc. There is also a wide range of cutlery and tableware. The large serving hatch opens directly into the hall.The hall space is modern, warm and clean with a high ceiling and good accoustics. There are plentiful tables and chairs which can be placed in any configuration on the solid wood floor. Toilet facilities are close by.Management of the hall is by Iwona, a lovely and very knowledgeable lady, who will go to great lengths to be as helpful as humanly possible with every aspect of using the space and is always at the end of a telephone for advice or help.The hall space is adaptable and one can hire just part of it without the kitchen at a cheaper price.The experience with my hiring was a very good one. I cannot fault the facilities and the attitude of the management. My 5-star rating is genuinely deserved.

This church has a great feel, traditional while being just formal enough. Relaxed. Tone was just right.There were 16-20 there, which for a weekday mass, is pretty good going. Everyone participated energetically. You felt welcome.It has a number of statues and small altars. The one to Edward the Confessor is hidden in a nook at the side, and is an interesting shrine.I called in for the Mass as I was in the area and it felt serene and settling; the calm sense of calm stayed with me throughout the day.

Wonderful almost sacred mass

A beautiful church in Golders Green.A building very reminiscent of a country monastic church.A place of quite and calm and peace in a busy world.The parish priest is a warm and welcoming man.

A real family place. Friendly with great provision for children. The music is professional and quite wonderful. Fr Paul is great and really challenges us to live and contribute to the world in a positive and fulsome way. Great priest.

A beautiful church and service.We were here for a Holy Communion and it is the perfect setting. Very ornate and peaceful.
