Broom Lane Medical Centre

It really pains me to write this review because I have been with this surgery all my life and I have always been the first to praise all the staff. But after my appointment with one particular doctor last week I have to say he gave me the impression he couldn’t be bothered.He never made eye contact with meHe took my BP never told me what it wasJust said yes it’s high wrote a prescription said take one a day never said what they were for I said is there anything else I need to know he said like what I asked about work baring in mind I told him I had been going very dizzy andHad fallen over he said you are ok to work lol never asked me what job I hadI could have been driving or operatingMachines. I didn’t go to work for 2 days has was still wobbling all over . He has given me a month supply of BP medsAnd I don’t go back for 6weeks so is that it ?? do I just stop, because he never said. Poor bed side manner come onPlease show a little interest all the other staff are managing it, we are all going through tough times .

If you call them takes you atleast 1 hour to get trough and speak to someone. Always fully booked.

An amazing surgery all round.The reception staff, nurses and Doctors always provide an excellent service and care.Well done keep up the good work. We are Really lucky we live near this medical centre.Thank you

I put a repeat prescription in on 6th December for a medication which I was suppose to pick up today on 8th December but got to pharmacy to be told there's no medication here. I went to doctors to be told I can't have them until this date but they need to bear in mind I only have 2 tablets left so If were to put my repeat prescription in for today say there's no guarantee I'll get them Saturday then I'll have to wait till Monday when I have None left. They never told me why I can't have them until this date this isn't the first time.

Can't say too much as it's not my usual doctors. On 2 floors so pay attention to which room you are going into.The car park outside is a bit of a tight mess at random times as there are business in the same lot so you might end up parking on the street around the corner or you might have 5 spaces available.

Dr Campbell is amazing, felt heard and listened to. Great GP.

The doctors I have been seeing are absolutely AMAZING doctors ... Dr Wiseman,Dr Campbell , Dr LangmeadRemember, the GPs work at 3 different practices, not just the one you are registered at.. so is The Advanced Nurse Practitioner Ms GardnerI've never had a problem getting an appointment with anyone even through Covid...Yes, it was a telephone one , unless they needed to see me. But I'm always able to get one ..They are a breath of fresh air, and I, for onecan't THANK them enough...But ..THANK YOU for just being You and caring

Dr Wiseman is one of the best doctors I have ever seen and what a credit she is to this practice! Very attentive to get to the root cause of issue, caring & knowledgeable about everything medical related at the top of her head, you can tell she’s excelling at her work, I’m so amazed because SOME of the doctors I have seen before are not as helpful & have to flick through books for simple illness.Thank you for not sending me back & forth and helping me.

This practice used to be outstanding unfortunately since Covid the practice may as well be housed in an empty phone box no one can be bothered to answer the phone no idea what the doctors do as it’s impossible to get an appointment the reception staff must be used to working with farm animals as that’s how your treated . What a shame needs a root and branch overhaul and would recommend a independent review of the practice.
