Katy is absolutely amazing, really takes the time to get to know her patients on an individual level and she was able to relieve my symptoms after a birth injury almost completely, which I never thought could happen. She really goes above and beyond for everyone she treats, and has made herself available to support me even after my treatment had finished. Highly recommend for any post natal issues. I only wish I'd known about her sooner!

Katy has helped me immensely with my pelvic floor, after I attended post 3rd degree tear. She helped teach me how to breathe, and her exercises have got me to a place where I can exercise without pain and I feel myself again! Thank you so much!

I don’t even know where to begin with saying how amazing Katy is!!! My first appointment with Katy was when I was 16 weeks PP and I was desperate for help due to the pain I was in after birth. Little did I know when going to Katy that I had suffered a 4th degree tear, hence the pain & why it was taking so long to heal. Katy listened to me, showed empathy & hands down is the nicest health care professional I’ve ever met. GPs weren’t interested Katy made me feel at complete ease at each appointment & after my initial assessment come up with a plan with exercises for me to do at home between appointments. I can’t praise Katy and her knowledge enough, I’ve recommended her to everyone I know! Thank you for all of your help Katy, if it wasn’t for you I’d still be in all of that pain now. Not only did you help me feel like my old self, but you listened & chatted with me & made me feel heard. I’ll be forever grateful ❤️ 5* plus!!!!! X

Ever since learning double unders I’ve dreaded them coming up in workouts because I have always peed during them. No matter how hard I tried I couldn’t fix it. I’d got to the point where I’d just accepted that it happened, made sure I wore black leggings if they came up, and got on with it.I openly joked about it at the gym, not because I found it funny, but because I hated the idea that if it was happening to other women at the gym, they’d feel embarrassed about it and maybe it would put them off CrossFit. I laughed about it but inside I hated that it was happening and I couldn’t fix it.At the start of this year I decided to seek professional help. Enter Katy. Turns out my pelvic floor was not functioning as it should, and during the specific positions my body was in during skipping it was putting more pressure on my bladder than it could cope with. Katy has been brilliant, helping me to understand how my pelvic floor should be working and giving me techniques to improve function.Alongside this I’ve had to re-learn how to do double unders and take a step back to move forward. I’m so pleased I did. Not only have I fixed the actual problem, but when I skip now my heart rate stays lower and I’m more relaxed, so it’s also less effort. It wasn’t a quick fix, it’s been months of small changes and adjustments, but so worth it.I just wish I’d sought help sooner! I wouldn’t have hesitated to see a physio about any other muscle I was having issues with, yet with this I’d just accepted it was something I’d have to suffer with. The pelvic floor doesn’t get talked about openly enough, and if it hadn’t felt like a taboo subject I probably would have got help sooner. If anybody in the North East is looking for help with theirs, Katy is awesome.

Katy really helped to improve my pelvic floor after having my 1st child. Each appointment she give me tailored advice to take away while also explaining how using these exercises/techniques would benefit me now and in the future as a preventative measure.I cannot recommend her enough to all women, especially postnatal. She is a true professional with a wealth of knowledge andincredibly approachable.

Lovely lady and excellent service. I would never have believed the importance of a Pelvic Physio and the success of the treatment given. Every female should have access to this area of expertise

I found Katy after experiencing ongoing pain for 2years following quite a traumatic birth. She immediately made me feel comfortable and helped me understand the pain and issues I was experiencing. After only a few months with Katy I felt so much improvement I also learnt a lot of techniques to help myself. I never believed it was possible to heal my pain but it was. It also gave me my confidence back! I can’t thank Katy enough. She’s excellent at what she does. I’m so pleased I found her!
