Used JLR Northampton for Years. Service was always good until it wasn't.Spend £80k on a car to wait a month to book it in. Given a Courtesy Car, Told my car was fixed when it wasn't so i would bring the Courtesy Car back for another (obviously more important) Customer.My Sales Person there was fantastic, however the support of the Dealership around her ultimately let her down to a point where I wouldn't recommend anyone buying a JLR to use Northampton / Sytner.There are better dealerships that do truly care about their customers and my advice would be to find one of these.

Where to start ... one of the worst experiences had with any dealership. Avoid at all costs!Purchased Used 3 year old Jaguar I-Pace for £40k (no small cost) with experience received being the worst, echoing some others, compelling me to write this negative experienceCons- Sold a faulty car to me with a known safety recall - overheating battery; noting this is illegal.- Withheld funds - took 4 days to receive a part exchange net payment which required chasing multiple times from me- Broken promises - Was told car chips and dent would be repaired by the in-house body shop but this was not the case leading to additional visits being required. Additionally being given times and dates (when payments would be made + when i would receive call backs etc. were all missed).- GDPR breach - Left prior customer details on the vehicle- Minimal accountability - Used car sales team blamed the mechanics, with mechanics blaming the sales team. Representatives i was dealing with did not pass details on meaning.- Missing charge cable - on collection day, charge cable was missing from vehicle.Pros- If you want to go for a coffee, then its excellent. 9 coffees had in the 5 visits made in the space of 2 weeks.I was able to return the car after escalating through complaints (waiting for 5 days for my money to be returned to me). For anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, i would recommend you go to an alternate dealership.

They quite literally go above and beyond…Unbelievable….Lee and John were absolutely amazing and I truly can’t thank them both enough for everything they’ve done.I’m beyond pleased with my new car, it’s phenomenal & I couldn’t ask for anything better. It was worth every minute travelling from Northern Ireland to collect it.Thank you sooooo much Lee & John

Disappointing communication throughout 2 weeks car was in.It started with a great call booking in but once in it was increasingly frustrating and unreliable dealing with them, I’m left regretting my choice.Unreliable estimates & most days I did not get the calls, emails, documentation or communication £200/hr labour coversThe fifth call to add on work I said no.Not going to give up on all JLR main dealers… just the Sytner Group ones

Had my car booked for a fault diagnostics. i was advised a part change which i agreed. 2 days later same fault reappeared & i took the car back into dealership. when i went to collect my car 2nd time below scenario occurred:- i was advised of extra charges i need to pay which was not agreed when car was dropped of.- my request to speak to the staff first who dealt with me 24 hours ago to clarify this confusion was ignored.- they would not release my car or let me re-have have the courtesy car i just drove in until they establish clarity. No effort made to get to bottom of issue, it as -you have to pay this now" attitude.Basically no choice left other than to just pay them for something i did not agree on. Employee - austin greatorex extremely rude and not wanting to listen or get to bottom of issueIve dealt with this dealership for last 6 years and first time such bad experience so i would urge the management to investigate this issue and improve ."

Purchased a used Range Rover Sport Autobiography from this place and I couldn’t fault the service. I dealt with Greg who couldn’t have been more helpful. Everything I wanted sorting with the car was done with no hassle, whether this was prior to pick up or after sale support. Many places just ignore you once the sale is complete but this wasn’t the case at this dealership.On collecting the car it was beautifully presented in their collection room where I was able to view the car at my own will allowing me to make sure I was happy with everything before driving away. All the boring paperwork part was made simple yet explained very well. The car was due a service so they kindly carried this out free of charge. They also went the extra mile and chucked in an after care kit and a bottle of Moet.The centre itself is very clean and every body i dealt with whether it was over the phone or in person was polite and well presented. I strongly recommend anyone looking to buy a car to check this place out.Thank you Greg and the team for everything and hopefully I’ll be back in the future for an upgrade!

Where do I start? Absolute shambles. Booked a dash cam fitting. Sytner Northampton had my car for 3 days.Booked service in for first thing in the morning. Waited at dealership. Took until past 5pm and that was with me constantly chasing. No updates or contact during the day.3 times I’ve been to have noisy air con investigated. Booked in, confirmed parts had been delivered. Only to find out after the first day that they hadn’t. Booked car in to have faulty parts replaced, but no parts available. They still have the car.They don’t call for an update when they say. They don’t reply to emails after requesting I email them.Shambles. DO NOT waste your time with Sytner. I’ll never return there. I’ll not spend another penny with them.

This is the first time using since the move to the new premises. The premises themselves are very impressive with a great range of features to make it possible to work from site, or just pass the time with a coffee if needed. Very impressed with the level of customer service received from the initial first phone call and the speed of it being answered and the level of care taken to understand the issue, right through to dropping the car off and collecting. a great all round experience.
