We have just completed a home extension with Katrina. From the initial consultation and design through planning, warrant and tendering processes we have had a great experience. As novices to the process Katrina guided us through everything and really listened to us and captured our vision in the final design. During the construction Katrina and our main contractors regularly liaised ensuring the final result matched what we wanted. We love the new space that has been created!

We have worked with Katrina over the past few years on two separate projects and she has been fantastic. We contacted Kat when we were thinking about knocking down the dividing wall between the living room and the kitchen in order to create more space for a family of 5 and a very small badly designed kitchen. Kat came with fresh ideas that really made the best use of the space and with the intent to make life at home easier for us. I am so glad we listened to her when she suggested an internal garage door! Soo much easier than running outside in our pjamas in all weathers to put the tumble dryer out and so glad we use her idea of a garage utility to create more cupboard space in the kitchen. You wouldn't think these little things would have such a big impact but that is why Kat is so good at what she does, as she really does put herself in your shoes and designs with you in mind. She prepared the plans for our studio extension and we are very pleased with our finished studio.From initial consultation through to completion Katrina was both professional and friendly.She prepared our plans, dealt with the tender process and building teams on our behalf. The whole process was very simple and she dealt with any stresses so we didn’t have to.This was our first extension and Katrina made the whole process very simple and straightforward.Her rates are both fair and very competitive. Katrina was our Architect on our Aberdeenshire extension project. It was a domestic project adding a second story above our garage.She was very professional to deal with, especially the project management service so that we didn't have to manage the timing and coordination of the tradesmen ourselves. And whenever something wasn't quite right with the build we could just go to her and she would work it out with the builders.Since our project a number of friends have engaged Katrina for their own building and renovation projects, they were all so impressed by the results.A very personal touch with plenty of good ideas for design and implementation.

Katrina has worked with us for over a year to get the perfect dream home layout and although it wasn’t easy she never gave up and I’m thrilled to say we finally got there in the end. Our new playroom, utility and kitchen/lounge area is perfect for our family of three kids. We love our new space and can’t wait to get started on phase 2 of renovating the rest of the house.
