I recently used Merciafor a move from France to UK and what a disappointing disaster it has been. The team that came to collect my things in France was friendly.unfortunately the good part of the story ends there. My gears arrived with lots of damages and has been really poorly handled. New white furniture arrived with Black mark and scratches on it, beautiful oak furniture arrived badly scratched and the worst of it is that they do not care a bit. The only answer I got from them is you said insurance was to expensive (which it is in my opinion). But no apologies nothing, the handler Simon kept on speaking about insurance as insurance is a for them a excuse to do a bad job and so they do not need to care about your belongings if you are insured.Conclusion OK price, really poor handling and quality and below zero customer service. Avoid at all cost.

I moved with Mercia Movers my belongings from UK to Sydney, Australia.I moved probably half of my house contents and a lot of sentimental items to me. I took the full packing service out and a crate for a decorated mirror - I am delighted to say that everything has arrived, as planned with no breakages - even with delays at the port in Australia not helping, but communication was great from Mercia in terms of ETAs so I new roughly when to expect everything from the other side of the world.Thank you and I will definitely recommend you to family and friends still in the UK when I convince them to move and live the dream out here with me.Fantastic work.

We wanted to share our experience of using mercia removals.We was moving home and I cannot thank the team enough, the lads that came were absolutely brilliant and did a first class job in packing, storing and moving us in what could have been a stressful day.They listened to our requests and nothing was too much trouble, we even shared a bacon butty which was well deserved.Lee, Harrison, Kev and Callum were a credit to the company and we would not hesitate to recommend or use them again.A bonus was that everything was beautifully packed and nothing was broken, missing or damaged in the move.Thank you so much.

We moved last summer from London to Paris, the service is friendly but don't get tricked, the furnitures and boxes are handled without care.A lot of our furnitures have been damaged with scraches and bumps. Our clothes have been thrown in boxes, when they told us during the estimate they would use hangers. You can imagine the state of the suit and coat after the move, everything out of shape and most are definietly wasted. No insurance can be applied on this (shape is not part of a claim), same for shoes.There was a big wine stain on one of the matress (and smelling wine too) they must have been sleping and drinking in the truck.Boxes with fragile sign on it were badly damaged...

It was an absolute desaster. I hired this company for ease of mind when moving from the UK to Germany. All I had was boxes and no furniture but wanted to make sure my goods are moved with care. This company just hired UPS without giving me any hint of this. I expected to open the door to a professional moving service. Instead I go a note through the door that I’ve missed the pick up time by 2 min (I was in the restroom when the doorbell rang). UPS would have cost me around £200 to organise myself, paid this company more than 500 for it. The boxes arrived in bad condition, none of the promised paperwork was provided by Mercia and any information as to what documents I’d need to provide was poorly communicated.

When we moved we wanted a friendly and professional company to manage the move due to the many poor reviews from the multiple 'man in a van' type unregulated companies out there. Mercia went over and above for us, their quote was within our price range with no hidden costs, the end to end move was managed perfectly by the office team and the removals guys who carried out the move worked with us to make sure all our needs were met. Very happy, would definitely recommend. Thanks again guys!

We moved some furniture from the UK to France and this team made the process easy and clear ant every step which was really helpful. The two movers were friendly and helpful and the support from the team back at the office (especially Kate!) who helped to organise everything was great. Would definitely recommend.

Super friendly company, always happy to help me with any questions or concerns I had and super professional too. As this was my first big international move, I had a lot of questions and they were super patient with me! Very fair price too. Definitely recommend:)
