The Charis Centre
Little worn out & looking old now but still provides a place to hold meetings or parties. Has private meeting rooms as well. Good size car park at the rear, close to the hospital and about 15 minutes from the Town Centre.

As a venue, this is excellent. The downside is the catering, which they insist they must provide. Last year the food was utterly inedible. This year it was massively overpriced for mediocre, but vastly improved, fayre. Instill some commercial and common sense into the catering team and this place will become a venue to be reckoned with.

I attend jungle tots here with my boy and its a fantastic little spot. There is lots to do for kids and the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to assist you, I can't fault it.. My son who doesn't go to hardly any one in the family let alone friends allowed one of the staff to pick him up. I only wish I'd known about it when my older child was little.

The Charis Centre
A great place for training sessions for medical staff. The only problem is we could hear the children shouting outside and could be distracting at times. Otherwise, the venue is okay.
