Glorious Gardens

We’re absolutely delighted with everything that Andrew and his team have done for us, transforming our back garden in just two days of work. Andrew listened carefully to our ideas, used his vast knowledge and artistic flair to create a detailed plan, and then carried out all the work to an extremely high standard. Everything happened exactly as promised, and we’ve loved the whole process.

Andrew first designed our garden 5 years ago and has turned a boring rectangle in to a fabulous collection of interconnected spaces with different colours, textures and vibrancy. He’s incredibly creative, hugely committed and hard working and super reliable! He’s very knowledgeable about plants and what works with different light and soil and as a result very few plants have failed. Andrew recently came back for a make-over and refresh and is tantalizing us with more bold ideas. I can’t recommend Glorious Gardens highly enough!

Andrew Staib has worked on my garden on and off for 9 years now. We have always been delighted with his work. Firstly, he redesigned my front garden in 2013. I wanted something easy to maintain and eye catching. He fulfilled the brief perfectly and 9 years on I am still delighted with my front garden. Secondly, Andrew then proceeded to maintain my garden with the help of one of his team of gardeners. And finally, in 2021, he redesigned my back garden, on a restricted budget! It is absolutely beautiful and each season that comes round we find new treasures popping up in the garden and more delights to be discovered. We now have a beautiful patio, fruit trees, climbing plants up a very high fence, beautiful flowers to cut and bring into the house, etc. It has all been perfectly thought out and created. Andrew has a particular flair for design, he can see immediately what will work in a garden and how to bring out the best features. I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed.

An excellent service from Andrew from start to finish. Within an hour of his first visit to our garden he had come up with a great plan which pretty much held through the full design process. Execution was smooth with a great team of workers transforming around 400 m2 of our garden in just 7 days. Highly recommended.

We have now been the proud owners of one of Andrew Staib's Glorious Gardens for one year. The brief was to reshape and replant two large borders in our back garden, keeping the maintenance low and allowing for our very chalky soil and increasingly hot summers. The results over the year have been wonderful and it's been an absolute pleasure watching the garden grow. We now have year round interest with lots of structure and colour. The bulbs are currently pushing through and I look forward to the riot of colour that these will bring whilst being food to our early pollinators.We also asked for our lawn to be replaced and for a sturdy gazebo to be erected. Jobs all exceedingly well done by Andrew's team which were delightful and a pleasure to have around.The garden is a joy. The spring and summer last year were full of newly emerging plants and I have enjoyed the view throughout the winter every bit as much, with there still being much colour and structure.Working with a garden designer is a first for us and whilst not cheap, it has been a most rewarding experience. I can truly say that we do now have a Glorious Garden.

Andrew spent a long time with us, really listening to what we wanted for our garden. He came up with something beautiful which, equally importantly, suited us perfectly. We are not particularly adept gardeners so we needed a complete overhaul, and we wanted something evergreen and low maintenance. Over two years on, our garden still looks wonderful and the plants have really grown in. We're very happy with Andrew's design, and his planting.

We are really pleased with the service we received from Glorious Gardens. Andrew responded to my enquiry swiftly and fitted in around my schedule for the initial consultation and follow up design reviews. He is very knowledgeable, gave great advice and was not pushy, giving us space to make decisions based on various options he presented. It’s been 4 months since the planting and the garden is transformed. The planting is very clever with lots of colour. We are excited to see the spring colour from the latest bulb planting!!

Andrew and his team recently completed redesigning our garden and we’re delighted with the result. He has transformed a plain and uninspiring small back garden into a beautiful place that we really enjoy being in. Throughout the design process, Andrew took the time to listen and really understand what we wanted and quickly came up with lots of creative and inspiring ideas. We appreciated his obvious flair and knowledge but also his professionalism and patience while we took time to consider different options. The final result has exceeded our expectations and we have no hesitation in recommending his garden design service.

Great experience working with Andrew and his team. We had a back garden that was described by friends as a dump- Old building materials, rubble etc, etc - Found Glorious Designs on web search and good reviews and nice and local for us. Andrew came round discussed and helped with a design within the budget we had and off we went - Took some hard labour to level the back garden as it sloped and the ground where we are BN1 6LR is chalk, and lots of it - Removed 16tons of rubble/chalk and brought in 8 tons of new top soil and then in 1 day Andrew and his guys planted out, brought in 3 water features ( weighed 90Kg each so very heavy) and finished the job. comms all the way along was 5* and Andrew and his team are such nice guys, friendly and hard working. We are extremely pleased with the result and from our experience i would 100% recommend Andrew. Some pictures of before and after. Plants will fatten out ( probably not the right term) so over time will look fuller. :)

We waited a few weeks befor posting our review so as to be able to do Andrew justice. He warned us that the garden would not be at it's best straight after planting, and not to be disappointed and he was right. We were pleased with the initial result, but since we have watched in delight as his vision for our little garden has come into being. Plants have taken hold and started to bloom and every day we see new colours and blossoms. Andrew is definitely very creative with an eye for what will work, but at the same time he listens and incorporates what you want. Would definitely recommend.
