Rox School Of Dance & Drama

My daughter has now been at Rox for over 8 years. In this time, she has had the most wonderful time learning all genres of dance from classical ballet to Jazz and has developed friendships that will last a lifetime. With the excellent teaching and support she has had my daughter successfully auditioned for the Royal Ballet School Junior Associate Programme. The school also encourages and is actively involved in participating in dance festivals and only last year a team of dancers were selected to represent their country at the Dance World Cup in Spain. I would definitely recommend this school - It really is a dance school that has something to offer to everyone!

Our daughter Alyssa joined Rox when she was 8 and during the last 5 years she has gone from strength to strength as a dancer, she now wants to be a dancer! and loves every minute of her time at Rox. Rox do 'Festival' dance competitions as well as the normal dance classes and Alyssa has had the chance to compete at All England Competition and Dance World Cup which has been an amazing experience for her. A very supportive group of teachers and dancers, we've all made some fantastic friendships here. I would recommend Rox to anyone looking for a great dance school in the Hove area, it's also easy parking etc. which helps!

My daughter has attended Rox since she was 3. She now takes part in classes, exams and festival competitions. It is a fantastic place where she has grown in confidence and ability. She has had so many fantastic experiences with Dance World Cup, Panto and other stage opportunities. The teachers are amazing and the whole ethos supports the children and parents so that it feels like a family. I would recommend Rox to anyone who is looking for a dance school. It is my daughter's second home and she loves it.

My daughters have been at Rox for a few years and they love it, the atmosphere, the teachers, everything! It’s great when you can find a school that you can trust and that your children are safe. The new premiss is amazing! But above all rox gives Us a sense of belonging and teamwork with opportunities to grow and work to be your best.

My daughter Scarlett started dancing at Rox at 3 years old, following in the footsteps of her two older sisters. She started with baby ballet and now at the age of 14, she takes lessons in ballet, tap, modern, acro, contemporary, singing and drama. With dedication, encouragement and excellent teaching Scarlett has progressed to the level where she has become a bronze medal winner two years in a row at The Dance World Cup, a finalist at the Janet Cram Awards in London and gold, silver and bronze medal winner at numerous festivals and competitions. Scarlett is being equipped with everything she needs to take her to auditions for dance colleges and beyond into the working world of performing. This is and will always be thanks to Rox and the very special teachers within the dance school who provide her with a safe environment, nurture and guidance.
