What can I say… New to Middlesbrough this Turkish Restaurant is for sure here to stay!Very clean and presentable with authentic Turkish design. Staff were really friendly and welcoming served us with a smile and were very helpful in answering our questions and guiding us through the menu. The food… Well just amazing! Well presented tasted just as good as it looks if not better. Price per dish is more than the average restaurant but this restaurant isn’t average. An experience of premium authentic Turkish food comes with a premium price. We were treated with dessert on the house, a warm baklava served with vanilla ice cream and hot glass of Turkish tea which hit the spot! Will definitely be back… Thank you once again!

Travelled from Manchester today to visit Middlesbrough, found this spot too eat.Left with a poor experience, honestly there is soo much too say.No communication, poor waiter skills and management.The £43 platler for 2 was not worth the price, of top of the food taste.The portion are small in line with the prices as well, no where near how all the other Turkish food places we have visted.Charges for extra sauce as this doesn't come with the food.Due to being hungry we made attempts to eat most of the food and explained the chops was ovely salty.. he came with 1 chops and just threw it onto the table.Again when it came to paying for the food, payment was happily taken.Appeared the moods of the faces around was the same disappointment.But we don't like to complain..

I went here about a month ago. I were the only person in the restaurant even though it were about half 5 in the afternoon. The food was pretty good even though the portions are small. I would consider going again.

We had a divine experience at Efe's when we attended as a family on a Wednesday night. Upon entry the restaurant vibe felt like a friendly, fancy hotel. Very clean and modern and can immediately sense an authentic Turkish culture. Staff and owner are super friendly! It was our first time visiting so we were guided and advised on the menu. The owner gave us a dish on the house with our mains then spoilt us with tea and desserts after! The prices are a bit dear for the area but the portion sizes are big, quality of food was excellent and the salad was beautiful and fresh. Thank you to everyone for making this such a beautiful experience for us. One of my best restaurant experiences, ever! We will certainly be visiting again.

My favourite fancy restaurant. The place is clean. There are many kinds of Turkish courses (mouthwatering) and good service. Overall, everything there attracts me, so I strongly recommend it.

What a delightful surprise this place ended up being. We were looking for somewhere to eat on New Year’s Day, and most restaurants were closed. Despite being reasonably full Efe’s was able to accommodate us without a reservation needed. The menu has lots of options to choose from, including plenty of vegetarian meals. I found the food fresh and packed with flavour. Staff were attentive and friendly. My husband and I both ordered different lamb dishes, and the meat was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Lovely Restaurant, always amazing food, and very friendly and attentive staff.Been here quiet a few times both dinner time and of an evening and it never disappoints.
