Before starting winter sea-swimming for the first time last year, I booked myself a one-to-one session with Emma, a Salty Seabird trainer. She spent an hour explaining the ins and outs of hypothermia and how to avoid it and masses more information about best practice for keeping safe while enjoying the benefits of the cold sea. We laughed quite a lot, I cried a bit (I'm like that) then we swam in the freezing cold sea and got dressed very quickly. Worth every penny.

Great service, great knowledge and expertise & great products, all tested to ensure the best Wild swimming adventures.I've not only bought many products including a moon wrap, haramaki, tow floats, towel, steel pints for those after swim beers but been gifted with their beautiful posters and pictures too. I've also had some amazing swim lessons with them which have boosted my skills, confidence and knowledge of swimming.It's so important to shop with knowledge that the products you will get are sound , but also the whole ethos of the business and investment in the future is there too. It's a win win.

It was brilliant learning to improve my swimming stroke with Seabirds Emma - classes were lots of fun and I ended up being so much more comfortable and efficient in the water.

Seabirds offer a fantastic range of swim lessons for all levels (in the pool and in the sea), and they give a lot back to the community as well. I've taken multiple classes with them and they've all been great - it's really boosted my confidence in the water.

Such a great business - they are all about giving back, it's in everything they do. I've bought quite a lot from them now - tow float, tin pint, and prescription goggles. Customer service and delivery times were great every time. Thank you!

Fab service! My latest purchase was some 2mm Waterproof Swim Socks. I got S" - am size 39. Perfect protection for my delicate feet whilst swimming all year round.And being part of the Salty Seabirds community has been wonderful - I've made many new friends who I would probably never have met otherwise
