Unfortunately I can not recommend this vendor. Planning a wedding is stressful enough and working with vendors like this just adds to unneeded stress. Poor/lack of communication, high prices/delivery fees (more than other suppliers) and more importantly they also changed their fees after we agreed to a contract and even paid a deposit. The reason for the 2 stars instead of the 1 star is due to the fact that after a lot of back and forth, they did finally give me my deposit back so that I could book a vendor who I felt confident knowing they would show up for my wedding.

My planner Lisa with Tartan Weddings did all the heavy lifting with my vendors including communication and payments, but these details were absolutely gorgeous. I can’t imagine having had a more beautiful tablescape and we used style in detail for all the design!

Went to the showroom for an open day event. All the items on display were unique and exquisite. The chance to get high quality yet affordable items for weddings and dinners within the Aberdeen area is almost impossible with options to only rent from down south. The company has a sizeable inventory and offers bespoke options as well. While at the showroom, you are allowed to mix and match items to create the layout you want. I’m surprised more event managers don’t collaborate with her rather than recycle old and mundane wedding themes.One thing to keep in mind while visiting is your budget. Because the pieces are so captivating, there are chances you’d be intrigued by a lot of items. That being said, a budget always serves as an ideal guide in mix and matching items to create the ideal setting for your dream wedding.I don’t intend to superimpose but I saw a post earlier which I believe is not true and poses as a defamation of this business and the owner. A lot of claims seem to stem from the reviewer’s appetite for the finer things and a lack of budgetary intelligence and I advice you disregard or better yet, pay a visit to the showroom and verify for yourself.

Sent two contact email forms and never heard back after a 4 week wait. Not the way to run a business and sadly will be taking my business elsewhere.

We thought we'd need to rent from England for our wedding. We were pleasantly surprised to find a local one stop shop that met our needs. Even better prices are comparable without significant transport costs. Dealing with style in detail was straightforward as we had a clear vision of what we wanted. The reservation process was easy, delivery was seamless. Products look even better physically than online. The entire process was smooth, we couldn't have asked for more.

Where do I start. Well my fiance and myself attended this showroom following a visit to her stand at the wedding exhibition. Initially she was all very helpful with ideas and offering discounts on certain things. We gave her a long list of items we wanted to hire from her for our wedding. This consisted of over 100 Chairs, 10 candleabras, flowers, 10 table covers, napkins, stemmed tealights, 10 picture frames, and 100 charger plates. The table linen offered to us was velvet and only £20 per table. We at no time requested bespoke table linen and were totally oblivious that these were custom made costing £900. Again emails and messages can confirm this. At NO time did we ask for discounts from this women, we were OFFERED these from her after she asked me to be her feature bride". I have ALL correspondence in writing and can prove the treatment we received. We were quoted around £5000 for the items requested

Our wedding was postponed three times due to covid. On the third attempt we opted for a smaller venue. The team at Style in detail was absolutely amazing with us. They were flexible and accommodated our changes without any additional charges, which was incredibly helpful considering how much we had lost elsewhere. We handpicked our décor, plates and cutlery from their showroom and on our wedding day everything looked even more extraordinary. The quality of their items is fantastic and all arrived neatly and thoughtfully packed, making repacking a breeze. The early delivery the day before was also very helpful. We genuinely wish we could do it all again!
