We were on holiday staying locally and called in to have an evening meal.Unfortunately no food was being served that night but the landlord and locals had just placed an order for fish and chips to be collected from the local chippy! He invited us to join them and took our order. We were hungry so well chuffed to be served a supper! Whilst we waited, we bought drinks and he set up a table for us.The ale and cider was perfect, as was the fish and chip supper. The landlord was so friendly, welcoming and we felt like part of his family!!Lovely pub, great atmosphere and the perfect end to our last day in Bardwell.Thank you Alan!! You and your 'family are stars!!"

A lovely local pub who have put in good safety measures due to covid . Good signs up, track and trace book, entering through one door and exit out another outdoor seating area with cover over top too. I always love coming here and this was no exception theyve really thought about their layout. We tried their pizza and it was incredible, they went out of there way to sort out my vegetarian choice too. Lovely experience!

First visit for an evening meal thought we would see if the good reports were correct, couldn't fault it from the kind welcome through to the excellent service and excellent home cooked food would really recommend a visit, a 2nd visit is on the cards.

Excellent service. Brilliant, dog friendly local public house with indoor and outdoor spaces to sit, chill and share a story or two with a local. Includes Dartboard, crib and pool table available for visitors

Went to escape awful camping weather. Very accomodating and friendly and showed the football. A wide selection of guest ales on tap, pool table for the kids, all in all a great village pub.
