Had a niggle with my car whilst on holiday in the lakes, dropped it off with no appointment and they were happy to take a look for me. Although the problem couldn't be fixed there and then they didn't charge me for their time and were very helpful and full of advice. Excellent service.

I took my car in to have a quick check of the brake fluid level, as when I had checked the previous night by torch (after hearing an odd noise when parking), it looked low. This eventually resulted in a bill of £38.I left my phone number with the garage and came back 4 hours after dropping it off, to have no news about my car. I came back another 4 hours later when I finished work to be told that the brake fluid level was fine and it was just hard to see.They'd also topped up my oil (which I have at home) and my coolant by 0.25L . At no point did I ask them to check these, nor was I called about them topping them up for me. I also know that Kwik Fit stores will refill up to 1 L of oil etc for free.Absolutely extortionate service, who will provide you with unnecessary tests and services beyond what you asked for and at a higher rate than other garages. Would never use again.
