I was treated like dirt and because I had Parkinson I was told I couldn't rent a scooter. Considering they there for disabled people that have a funy way of showing it .this was very large man with a grey beardREPLYthe large man didn't even see me do the test

I totally agree with Jimmy, they are a complete waste of space just sitting in their hut drinking tea.

Great place if you need a mobility scooter for running round the shops and you do not have have the facility to take your own

Visited today in regards to getting my dad a scooter while on holiday. As soon as we went in they stated my dad would have to do a small test on the mobility scooter due to him having Parkinson’s (which we understood and agreed too) before my dad even drove the scooter the gentleman (larger gentleman who works there) turned to me and said it wouldn’t work and refused to give us a mobility scooter for him. My dad is regularly checked by the DVLA is is able to drive a car yet was refused a mobility scooter for the fact he had Parkinson’s. My dad did the test outside the shop and was able to drive it fine, reverse it and turn it. Yet the older gentlemen working there was rude and basically said no the second my dad sat on the scooter.Discrimination against disabilities shouldn’t be allowed especially from a mobility shop.Wouldn’t recommend, rude staff who clearly don’t understand disabilities and write people off on appearance and not what they can actually do.

Good service, reliable scooters, very reasonably priced which allowed me to do everything I wanted on my holiday. I would thoroughly recommend.

I spoke to a large man who was sitting outside the shop on a stationary mobility scooter (probably as there were no customers) regarding the hiring procedure whilst in Paignton on Saturday, but found him to be condescending, standoffish and nonchalant. The lady with him was quite the opposite and helpfully retrieved a leaflet for me with the hiring information on.We decided to use their services the following Monday and was very pleased to be assisted by a lovely lady (a different one from the Saturday) and to not have the presence of that Ill-mannered, rotund troglodyte to put a dampener on our holiday!The overall experience was very good and price for the day hire phenomenal, but I took 2 stars off my rating simply because of the way I was spoke to by that rude, curt individual!

A rude large man in the shop told to leave when I walked in! Then he chucked a traffic cone into the entrance with a note stating 'please wait here', before he stomped back to his seat. Customer service zero, unfortunately I can't give a zero star! Although if you need to hire a scooter or other equipment you'll have to deal with him - so good luck!!
