Tom Howley

Our Kitchen from Tom Howley has been up and running for a few months now and it's a total delight. It not only looks fabulous but it works on a functional level too thanks to the great design by Jenny. She managed to open our eyes (and our design) to make the whole room feel spacious and totally integrated into our home, we spend all our time in here now. The whole process from beginning to end was enjoyable and quite honestly the best part of all the building work. The attention to detail both in design and delivery was amazing. Jenny and Sarah in the showroom are very welcoming and instantly made us feel at home they make a mean cup of tea and always had yummy biscuits! A big thank you also goes to Don who was meticulous in his measuring and liaised with our builders at every stage, he certainly helped take the stress out of it all. The fitters did a great job, especial with some of our wriggly walls, they were meticulous in their finishing off. We have nothing but praise for the whole team and would certainly highly recommend Tom Howley Alderley Edge.

From beginning to end excellent nothing was too much trouble

Our new Kitchen has recently been completed and is stunning! Everyone that has visited our new house has commented on its good looks, practical layout, and excellent quality.Thank you to Jenny, Sarah, Don, Barry and Gavin for providing exceptional service throughout.

*** UPDATE 1 year on***Our dissatisfaction with TH Alderley persists. We have had an ugly year trying and failing to discuss compensation with the team and our kitchen is showing signs of wear and tear already - paint peeling etc. We were advised to raise our issue with the ombudsman they say their registered with on their website but when I phoned they weren't actually registered at all and they are not part of an ombudsman. They have told us that if we wish to take it further now then we have to take it to court. Frankly there's more to life than kitchens and being cross about poor service but I really would stay away and research alternative options.ORIGINAL POST:Our just-finished kitchen is beautiful and we received good advice from Jenny regarding work surfaces and layout. However I was disappointed to find the fit not as expected (40cm too short, and shy of the ceiling where wall to wall, floor to ceiling units had been requested). Whilst there were attempts to remedy the situation and ultimately a huge number of cabinets were remade, we felt we had to fight hard for these (initially we were asked to move the wall) and of course frustratingly all would have been unnecessary had the measurements been considered earlier and appropriate discussions been had.Overall I feel the service delivered was below par and not 'exquisite' or 'luxury'. Lots of little problems we would normally have turned a blind eye too individually all added up - erratic time keeping of fitters, difficult communications with managers etc. Yes our kitchen is stunning but ultimately (for a large amount of money) we have ended up with a compromise and a lot of hassle.We would be unlikely to use them again.

Great customer service and well informed staff who gave us an insight into the range of Tom Howley kitchens. We will be back....
