I have had a fantastic experience with the conveyancing department. Jagoda, our solicitor, was thorough and prompt with communication. She routinely answered our many questions as first time buyers and offered clear instructions. I was very happy to have had this support. We had really good interactions with others too (Joshua M, Morgan F). The organisation has good systems in place by way of documentation and communication. Highly recommended to others looking for solicitors during a property purchase.

I completed sale of my flat and purchase of a house last week and am very happy with the service provided by Angela Dunlop and her assistants at the Fishponds branch of Watkin’s solicitors. They were recommended to me by my estate agent and provided me with one of the cheapest quotes and I was a little apprehensive about appointing a solicitor recommended by my estate agent. However, I needn’t have been concerned. Angela was organised and efficient throughout. If I ever needed advice about an aspect of the process (e.g. how to re-negotiate the sale price), Angela would launch into a detailed, yet concise and easy to understand explanation of the process and what I needed to do. I would go as far as saying that if it weren’t for Angela and her colleagues at Watkins the chain would almost certainly have fallen through, because the solicitor acting for my buyer was particularly unresponsive and unprofessional and Angela had to chase them endlessly throughout the process. We finally exchanged at about 12.30pm on the deadline my vendor's had imposed (after my buyer's solicitor had continued to delay the process over the previous month - dragging out a negotiation about one final detail). If Angela and her colleagues hadn't chased my buyer's solicitor relentlessly on that morning I don't think I'd be in the house now. She even phoned me at the end of the day to check that everything had gone Ok at my end and that I was happy. I’d definitely recommend their services to other people.

Kate and the team were excellent throughout my mortgage and remortgage. The process was very smooth, things progressed quickly and their work was professional and thorough. Communication was clear, quick responses to emails and they made everything clear and easy to understand. I would recommend.

So far so good. Using for moving so cannot give a truly fair review yet, hence only 3* will update once completed.

We had to witness signing of a simple document. I phoned and was told it will be done and arranged a time. I had to travel from far. There I was told the lawyer" does not want to do it. No other information was given. My advice is stay away from people with unprofessional attitude."

The service my daughter and her half sisters mum have received dealing with the probate and house sale after the death of her father has been absolutely appalling. Two children lost their farther at a young age and not only has this been really poorly handled at every stage in the process, Tony and the team can’t even make the effort to respond to urgent calls and emails from my daughter when she has been trying to find out what’s going on. This has been beyond distressing for the whole family.

Please do not buy a house through this solicitor's they are extremely slow and irresponsible.

Very happy with the service. Jagoda helped us at every step of the conveyancing process, taking the time to explain things to us and promptly answering any questions and uncertainties we had. Highly reccomended.

Nearly impossible to get feedback or at least a call back. Numerous spelling errors adding delay and stress. Incapable of reissuing error-filled reports, frequently avoiding questions entirely. Internal QA procedures are shambles, lacking even page numbers on reports - how this company is still doing business is beyond my comprehension.Would rate it in the negative star numbers if possible. The fact that we managed to complete the house purchase is nothing short of a miracle.
