It's OK, gets you pretty close to the town centre to walk.Although why South Tyneside Council charges for parking still astounds me if they want to attract shoppers they need to really revise their ideas. I normally do not shop in the town due to their parking and scam bus lanes.I found it easier to use the Pay by Phone app to pay for parking so you don't have to touch the payment machine, but each to their own.
