Do not shop here. Extremely rude and intimidating man behind the counter. Clothes are cheap and disgusting quality. Horrible creepy communal changing rooms. Don’t bother buying anything because the man behind the counter will refuse a refund with absolutely 0 reasoning and logic behind it other than the fact he doesn’t want to. This place should not still be in business and it only is because the man lives off of refusing refunds while customers loose out on money unable to return poor quality and overpriced clothing.

Disgustingly dirty changing room, not allowed to try on colours or white in case you get make on them so you have to try the black. Changing room has holes in the curtain and it's a tiny corridor in view of the till so people coming in pull back the curtain while you are changing which is traumatising especially for teens. Other reviews say how rude the staff are and they don't want to refund you. Don't shop there. Should get minus stars but you have to put one or you can't post your review.

Unsure why so many negative reviews, great customer service, great quality clothes at affordable prices. Highly recommend

Horrible place to shop at. They have one communal changing room where anyone can pull the curtain back and expose any person getting changed there, if there’s someone half naked, they will expose and see them. Plus the “changing room”, is a long corridor full of mirrors and at the end of it is a door which at any second someone can open it and once again expose you as the customers don’t know who has access to that door from the other side. The man at the till is extremely rude, along with the female worker there who just makes you so uncomfortable by standing at you. She’s usually standing at the end of the shop just starting at you whilst you’re looking at clothes. It makes you extremely uncomfortable and puts you in a creepy, weird situation and makes you want to leave the shop. You can only take darker clothes with you to try on, you cannot take white or light coloured clothes with you even if you don’t wear makeup and if you question both the female worker and the man at the till, they’ll say it’s due to “makeup” but when I went I didn’t have any on and they still didn’t let me try on. I think it’s a poor excuse to not cleaning the “changing room” as it’s very dirty and of course if you take white clothing there, it will get dirty. Just don’t shop here, you’re better off at primark, at least there you have a private changing room where the curtains even close properly now for better privacy reasons.

I wanna share my recent experience in Melody shop. While I purchased earlier a lot of stuffs but today as soon as I entered the guy was chasing us like we are stealing something and when I was going to the changing room the man asked so rudely from away to give him the clothes to count. I am not having any problem with what he asked for, but the way he was asking and the hand signal he was giving to us to go and give him the clothes to count, it was very very inappropriate. He was staring at us(all girls) all the time like anything. The shopkeeper's tone and words he was using was very offensive.He seems bias and racist to the Asian people. When there were other people going in front of us for trial he was fine with them. I am surprised how he is still running the shop in such a good place and mixed culture environment. It is essential that customers, regardless of their background, gender, or age, feel comfortable and respected when visiting any store.After we came back from trial room he was again saying us I will count the clothes, which was like soooo rude to us. He seems very unprofessional and ill-mannered.We have gone for shopping for a special event and have fun with friends, but he ruined our mood and we felt insulted the way he behaved, treated us wrong way, keep on staring us, and passing unnecessary comments .As a girl, as a social person living in multi-cultured environment where everybody is free it is not acceptable at all. I don't even want to give 1 star, there should be a way to give negative points to such people specially. Very very disappointing experience.

Do not shop here unless you want to be scammed by a disgraceful owner. Most disgusting customer service I've ever received. This store has dodgy communal changing rooms which for a girl on her own would not feel safe in in the slightest, so I bought an item to try on at home which was awful quality so went to return a week later. On returning he told me I should have waited until the store empty and tried them on there instead of purchasing them and trying them on at home??? He then proceeded to find multiple reasons as to why he would not accept my return despite having all the tags on and the receipt. He claimed that because there was fluff on the item he would not accept the return despite showing him items in the store which were covered in dust which he claimed was not relevant." All the negative reviews are correct this man will refuse a refund no matter what. Shocks me how this shop is still open."

Scammers - try any and every excuse to blame customers and not provide exchanges/refunds. Clothing low quality and won't last. Lie about tags being removed/moved (tags can only be removed once) therefore the worker is, at best, completely stupid. Avoid

Very rude man at the counter. I politely asked if I could return my dress that was cheaply made at the back and very see through. He aggressively took my dress out of my bag I brought it in and didn't even talk to me when then he was looking at his laptop saying its over 14 days and it can't be returned. Firstly it doesn't even tell you on the receipt when you have to return it back for like any other shop would! And number 2 I didn't have time to bring it back and I didn't really want to go and try it on in the communal changing room! Appalling shop and will never be returning!

i entered the shop as a loyal customer who oftern purchases there i went to the changing room and he came out and told me i was stealing and asking where my stuff is i gave him it all and told to check my bags i did not steal anything and i was wearing skin tite clothes so i could not have possibly took anything this guy deserves to get fired as he’s just trying to touch girls and look through their stuff

I go here quite often and the staff are helpful and friendly. It’s a shame they only have one big room for trying things on but I just try them on at home and return anything that doesn’t fit. Never had a problem with my returns before. Love the rotation of clothes!
