Woolpit Village Sign

Woolpit village will forever be associated with the folklore of the green children who once upon a time, apparently appeared from nowhere. Fittingly, the sister & brother are both depicted on the WOOLPIT sign, their skin colour tinged with green, within the black enamel of the rest of the wrought iron tracery.
