I used Boot & Son to sell my mother's house. They were friendly and professional throughout the entire process. I met Stan Fenton initially to discuss the sale of the house. He was really helpful, explained everything and answered all of my questions. Once the sale was in progress I had regular updates from Wendy Brown who liaised with my solicitor at every stage and kept me informed via email and regular phone calls. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their house.

We used Boot & Son for a RICS survey as our property was obtained via a shared ownership. We were quite nervous as we were informed that you can get some really unexperienced valuators that would really undervalue your home. However, Debbie gave us a warm introduction to the company and the experience totalled over 30 years between the two RICS surveryors which help put our minds at ease.The process was painless, Amy who visited us was so polite and very informative and we had the report back within a very timly manor.We really apprecaited the support from Boot & Son's and we would 100% recommend.Thank you.Jamie & Kate

Tim Boot came to our property as an independent chartered surveyor to give a diminutive valuation of our home for an insurance claim. He advised me that the value of the property was,…. “Off the record”…...“land value”! due to the condition of the property and what was required to make it mortgageable again. We are in the process of a claim of negligence against another chartered surveyor who advised us that the property we was about to purchase was structurally sound? Not quite, Red Ash…. So many red flags missed. Knowing what we know now we would’ve never purchased the property.If I could give 1/2 a star I would, as it took him 4 months to do the report and then did a complete U turn on his valuation. Really bad business in my opinion and as a professional person you shouldn’t say one thing and then do another.

I strongly do not recommend renting through this company at all. With poor communication from members of staff, lacking information needed upon initial rental process and the general state of the property moving into being very unhygienic. This all led to a very stressful experience and would definitely not use them again.

We have just moved into our new home and I cannot fault the level of service from both Boot & Son and in particular Emily Choma. From start to finish Emily has been very helpful and very fast with responses to our queries and has gone above and beyond to help us get settled so thank you so much.
