I came to Back Balance to sort out my shoulder and my arm... I found not only that the issues I was experiencing were results of my emotional distress, which needed resolving, and my lifestyle choices being out of alignment with the health I deserve, but ALSO that the alignment sessions I started receiving weekly were a major influence on my ability to THINK straight, LIVE healthy, and understand the causality of my initial issues! Since starting, I am certain that this is one of the best life choices I've made! EVER! I'll stick with Marian and the team forever!

I had a positive holistic experience and outcomes with Marian, and would recommend considering this treatment as part of a strategy for improving your health and life.Prior to starting I was experiencing mid-back and neck pain from years of IT work, was quite reserved in my physical exercise and social interactions due to a chronic health condition, and having moved to a new city alone there was a lot of change in my life to deal with. After relief from adjustments I was able to improve my sleep patterns, gain better posture, started calisthenics and jogging most nights, and with increased mental capacity I was in a better position to make progress on integrating into my new environment and progress in my professional career.I now have a clear direction on what to target next, as the increased flexibility and realignment is helping to highlight other areas that require more targeted soft tissue treatments.

Marion's hands are incredible. Professional practitioner, proper communication via mail and through the personal portal updating important files and the exercises. I had amazing sessions with Marian in the summer due to a flare up of my chronic back condition and nerve root damage in my right leg. I can confidently say I am in a good place and I have not had any burning sensations or aches and pains. I am able to do my steps as I was doing befow the flare up. I came in with a lower back pain that I have had on and off for 4 years, among other back issues. Marian examined me and kindly recommended me a plan. In a few weeks of treatments and some easy exercises I was feeling no pain at all. Also, haven’t been having migraines. Marian is professional, respectful and very honest. I’ve seen Marian for the last year and a half or so, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health. By working with Marian, I was able to change not only how I stand, but how I walk through life. Previously, I used to struggle with extremely tight shoulders which locked my neck frequently. I could barely go a month without some sort of neck spasm keeping me from looking left for days at a time. While the process of feeing my body shift has been interesting, it’s been well worth it to feel how much more space exists in my body now. As my muscles learned to relax or engage the way they were intended, my body literally started rearranging. I could see visible changes in my collarbone, sternum and back. I could feel those results also taking hold in my neck, knees and hips. While some of these changes were painful (particularly as my sternum adjusted) the freedom of movement I have now, and the connection I have with my body has been a worth any discomfort. I strongly recommend Marian and Diana to anyone thinking about making a lifestyle change that will only benefit them more over time.

I have some lower back issues for years. I have been to several chiropractor but pain was not resolved. By luck I came across Back Balance in Streatham and met Marian who was very helpful and very professional. I have treatment for several weeks and each week passed I could feel great relief.Now I am pain free and very grateful about Marian work and treatment. He is very honest, trustworthy, understanding and must say he has been blessed with healing hands.I would definitely recommend Back Balance for treatment.

I started taking physiotherapy sessions at this studio back in 2019 as I had a strong back pain and I was promised that after the treatment was completed the pain was not going to come back. The course lasted a few months and consisted of short press ups and on my lower back and neck for 10 minutes weekly, I had a temporary relief however as soon as I resume my physical exercise the pain would be back. The course itself was quite expensive and I was coaxed to sign a contract for which I was obliged to pay a direct direct therefore I could not withdraw from it, I felt cheated and lied to as I was promised the pain will never come back otherwise I wouldn't have agreed to pay for the course. Overall the treatment had some benefits whilst I was attending the sessions but not good enough to diagnose my problem and treat it correctly , waste of money and false promises
