Nehemiah Housing Association

Useless. They ignore or shun any problems you may have with another tenant. Not spoke to our housing officer since Xmas eve 2020 despite messaging them about some issues with the tenants in my block.They expect you to call the police about any anti social issues and avoid any involvement. And the Housing Association had a duty of care towards their tenants. Pffft.Cannot get through to anyone, so don't bother ask me to Neahmiah.

Been a tenant for 17 years and the lack of repairs carried out has finally caught up with us.Reported to the council about the lack of service from them and a few token gestures have been made. We even tried to buy the property but was insulted with them wanting full market value for the property in A1 condition. The property needs a new roof guttering facia back door the list goes on even the gas safety certificate was not carried out because the boiler is obsolete.As long as you rent is on time and in full that's all they care about they go by the name of UCHA must say its not a church I would want to be a part of.

Awful company, useless at communication. Likely paying valuation companies to make the house seem worth more when I'm trying to buy it. Greedy company who don't like parting with money even if it's owed. Left me with a leak on a Friday 5pm when they were responsible to fix it (took to court and won in the end, just a long process to get the money I was due).

Attitude of this company is absolutely disgusting every time I agree with ALOT of these reviews . Constant attitude I’m currently in hospital extremely poorly which has been explained and Iv been getting constant phone calls about rent that I can not sort while in hospital . Please consider people and their health and wealth as I company this attitude seriously needs to change before you push someone over the edge . It’s disgusting and comes across as bullying while people are vulnerable which a lot of your tenants are bring back Diane she was amazing understanding the rest NO words and can not wait to move from this company the pure anxiety this company give people really is not nice .So after this continued harassment from the housing people not living in the court still parking here reported 3times made a call today as couldn’t park my car . Still no follow up : This is clearly bully and harassment this is now becoming a police issue as Nehemiah are doing nothing about it currently receiving treatment from the crisis team due to the stress physically and mentally stress and referral to early years for my son as he was becoming really affected at 11 and does not want to be at home ,they have sent me terms and conditions to apply with but aren’t even following them as a company ? My mental health team are now involved with getting me an emergency move . Anyone with a disability do not go with this company they tear you down to the point of suicidal. This housing apparently like all others from what i here, are disgusting, cruel, wicked, uncaring, greedy liars. All they care about is making sure they receive their rent. They DO NOT CARE!! If your house is falling apart, or if you have nuisance neighbours etc. Just as long as the rent is filling their pockets. I'm just waiting now for my bathroom ceiling to literally cave in, this should be soon with all this rain. Maybe, just maybe then, they'll come and have a look. Its been what, 2 years I've been reporting about damp and mould that is and has destroyed my belongings and decor and blinds, costing a lot to repair and replace which i can't. They have a dodgy Dell boy character that tries to fob you off with rubbish as to why you don't need the help.UNITED CHURCH!!! They call themselves. What a joke.Called the repair team old and new many times, all I got was promises for a call back. Reported other repairs, still waiting after 6 wks of reporting them. I've never been rude to them, as badly as I've been treated, I'm always very calmly spoken, still nothing works. My anger has almost turned to tears in disbelief, that after being with this housing for over 20 yrs, treated the property with respect, kept it clean inside and out. It's shocking.Oh yes, and please do not respond with your fake patronising please contact the housing. Cruel regards" rubbish!"

I have been a tennant for almost 10 years during which time I have had lovely housing officers. As for repairs I have never had an issue. With regards to the guys who carry out our repairs including the gardening crew. Have found them all to be professional, supportive and very nice people. They engage well and are a pleasure to have around. ☺

Nehemiah housing association aka United churches were a good landlord. However I decided to fill out an application form for another housing association due to my ex. I wanted a fresh start. The other housing association offered me a beautiful flat. Nehemiah housing decided to change the locks on my front door and not let me get my things shame on them. So glad I'm not with nehemiah housing association the crooks who wouldn't let me get my things.

Hi Lynn,I have been trying to get in contact with you for a while and was unable to locate your details.You have always been on my mind since my housing situation on the 3rd February 2023 where i was sent to see you by the council in regards to housing for me and my son, only to find out that the accommodation was not suitable.I was not in a good frame of mind at the time, I was at my lowest, and could not see anyway out and I was really worried that i was going to be made homeless.I would like to say a very (BIG THANK YOU) for all that you did on the day, calling Birmingham City Council housing and explaining the whole situation to them, because i was just not in the right frame of mind at the time and i just did not have the energy to deal with anymore bad and negative news.You were brilliant at handling the situation over the phone you went (ABOVE & BEYOND) and i don’t know what i would have done if i didn’t have your assistant. This housing association is run by extremely unprofessional and rude staff, they have no desire in helping their tenants,I've learned through conversing with tenants that I'm not the only one who has experienced their aggressive attitude and demeanour, they get away with their bad behaviour by scaring their vulnerable tenants with trumped up charges and eviction. Good luck to anyone who is forced to use their services.
