Nolton Haven Mill - Ty'r Felin

A great place

We had a lovely family getaway to this charming, fun featured and fabulously located home. Welcomed by a personal note and local treats to give us an easy arrival and morning, such as fresh bread, jams, Welsh cakes, milk & sausages - we quickly made ourselves at home. And, quickly met my son’s demands to visit the sea - a quick 3-minute walk. Our stay was care free, filled with luxurious nights in the hot tub and filled with local experiences of ice cream and coastal walks. Couldn’t recommend the home and attentive owners enough.

We had the most amazing 2 weeks at Ty’r Felin in August 2021. The bungalow is beautifully presented with a New England beach house vibe. Newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms, slate floors, log burner in the lounge, and a large hot tub in the garden overlooking the bay.It’s a 3 min walk to Nolton Haven beach, which is patrolled by life guards at peak time. There is a surf shack hiring body boards, surfboards, wetsuits etc, ice cream van, a pub and a brasserie (make sure you book well in advance)Newgale Sands, a stunning 3 mile beach is a 10 min drive away, a surfers paradise. St David’s is 20 mins away, well worth a visit. Quaint shops, nice restaurants/cafes etc.Nick and Ruth, the owners, were fabulous. Easily contactable, great for local knowledge and advice, and on hand if needed. The perfect hosts.Can’t wait to return soon.

This place is absolutely superb - best accommodation in the area by miles. Immaculately layed out and finished to a really high standard. Everything thought of and catered for. A must stay in a lovely spot.

Perfect place for a perfect family holiday. We’ve just stayed at Ty’r felin for 11 nights. The accommodation is modern and spotlessly clean. The owners thought of everything to make our stay really comfortable and easy. The location is fantastic with being a 2 minute walk to the lovely nolton haven beach. It’s also just a short drive to many other beautiful beaches in st brides bay. We are already looking forward to our next holiday here!
