I went in today to look for a suitable travel flask for my coffees and teas in the car, the younger lady greeted me warmly and carefully ran through all of the options taking into great consideration what I had specified, very professional and honest service the lady radiated care and passion! Super happy with my choice will be recommending your store, thanks again!

My experience indicates poor customer service when things aren’t right which is a shame as shop itself is good. Probably won’t use again as didn’t enjoy the experience.

Bit disappointed in the shop. Seems to have had a turn around. Change of ownership?? Doesn't seem the same and didn't have anything I wanted. Usually I find it's the place to go, but not today.

Very disappointing customer service which seems to echo other people's 1 star experiences. Went in to buy items I had called to confirm they had for my daughter's birthday - Le Creuset salt and pepper set, and was told they were on sale. Went in to buy next day and was told by very rude staff member that they weren't on sale anymore, who proceeded to go back to chatting with colleagues. No further comments, apology, explanation or alternative offered. Went home and bought on Amazon - something I hate doing because I try to support local business but with customer service like that didn't really want to in this case. It wasn't the fact that the items weren't on sale any longer that bothered me, but the staff's attitude and lack of customer appreciation.

I was embarking on making a wedding cake for my daughter. I had never done anything so intimidating in my life and was very anxious.The staff at Salamander were wonderful.... They advised me on equipment, recommended a wonderful man who made my cake board (Live Edge Living) and put up with my many phone calls.They have the most wonderful range of equipment and also will order items in if necessary....... A wonderful, supportive shop.Thank you.

Purchased a Uno Casa Tagine from Salamander.The Tagine was half price of a Le Cruise and the quality as good or better.As we were looking for a Tagine for hob use & oven cooking, Salamander recommend to try the Uno Casa.It was ordered & next day arrived.We have tried few dishes from the menuand the taste was superb.Highly recommend the Uno Casa Tagine& Salamander for there advice & speedyOrdering of the product.

This is the third time I have ordered on line. The last two times items were well packed and received promptly, and I have every confidence the third order will be the same. I wondered into an excellent kitchen shop when on holiday in Sherborne, and it took me only a few seconds to click that it was the same company that I had ordered from on line. I admit that I loved looking round the shop, the staff were very helpful, and helped me choose the ideal items.

Just visited this shop with our three children and immediately felt unwelcome. Our children were well behaved, looking at the items, excited about potential Christmas presents to gift to others - but the looks and unfriendly tone clearly showed we weren’t welcome. Even after purchasing an item, the staff’s eyes were firmly fixed on our 11 year old son - we didn’t have young toddlers running about the shop! This isn’t the first time we have been made to feel like that, again after buying something. We won’t be returning which is disappointing as we like to support local businesses in the town. They need to change their approach to customers.
