Trafford Builders took on several projects on our Victorian house renovations including a modern picture window with built in seating area and a period correct knock-through and plaster archway. We felt in really good hands throughout the process due to the professional and detailed communication. The work of Ben & his team was finished to an incredible standard.I would recommend Trafford Builders and look forward to working with themon future projects.

Ben and the team at Trafford Builders completed a full back to brick refurb on my house in 2019/20. The work included tanking the basement, removing internal walls & installing RSJs to create an open plan space, re-plastering and replacing all glazing throughout the house.As well as doing all the structural and restoration work Ben project managed the entire process co-ordinating an army of specialist trades, an architect and building control. It was a big project and I wouldn’t have been able to bring it all together myself. When a specialist was required Ben recommended someone and all the his recommendations were great.Ben was honest and transparent about the costs at the start and stayed on budget throughout the build. The project went over the initial time frame by a few weeks only due to the first Covid lockdown.Ben, Dave and Col are articulate and considerate and communicated clearly to me in laymen's terms what was happening at every stage of the project. You won’t meet a nicer bunch of lads.I am delighted with the results of the refurb and I can’t recommend Trafford builders highly enough!

Trafford Builders and Ben, MD, were recommended to us by neighbours – they were very impressed with the work TB had undertaken at their house in Whalley Range.Ben visited us and talked through the scope of the works required: 2 internal knock throughs (one which necessitated the removal of a chimney breast) and a knock through of the rear external wall for glass patio doors. We also needed to have a boiler re-located and finishing works, brick laying, flooring and plastering, once the walls were demolished and the steel joists were in place.Once we accepted the quote we had a second site meeting with Ben and his colleague to discuss the steels, ceiling heights and visual aspects of the finishing.We were really impressed with the team, they worked hard and efficiently; we were given choices and were involved in decisions where necessary – the guys did not second guess how we would like certain things, we were asked. We are really happy with the finished space and the plastering is fabulous. Importantly Ben is a great communicator, he answers his phone and returns calls and, after Christmas, he called us re the outstanding elements of finishing that remained.Needless to say, we would highly recommend TB, Ben and the team.

It was a pleasure having Ben and the team at our home. We only needed a small job doing - garden wall and 2 new pillars building, but the work was done with the minimum of fuss, at a fair price and looks immaculate. Highly recommended and we’ll certainly use in the future for larger jobs

I have always found Ben to be a great help with regards to advise and assistance. Unfortunately he is so in demand he couldn't fit us in for the work we needed. That alone tells you a great deal about the quality of his work. He put me in touch with David Earl who has also gone above and beyond. We have been let down badly by unprofessional builders in the past. If you can wait for Trafford builders to fit you into their schedule I highly recommend you do so.

I would fully recommend Trafford Builders. Ben did a large conversion for us, turning an single story garage shell with no water, heating or power into a 2 story annex with full plumbing, heating & water..Ben was a great guy to work with and very knowledgeable with good suggestions on design and worked with us taking on our ideas as the projected developed.The end result was better than we thought it would be and has created a great space for us to entertain and for guests to stay.

I could not be happier with the decking built and installed by Ben /Trafford Builders. It was exactly what I wanted, and looks amazing. Arrived on time, installed the deck and left everything clean and tidy. I highly recommend this Company.

We recently used Trafford builders for a renovation of our ground floor to create an open plan living and kitchen at the back of the house. At the same time they also knocked through a wall to create a larger bathroom on the first floor.From first enquiry we found Ben really knowledgeable, helpful and just a genuinely lovely guy. When we signed up with him he gave us a date for the expected start of work, and was true to his word in sticking to this schedule. The actual work went really quickly and smoothly and Ben and his team were an absolute pleasure to have around. They are real experts at what they do and always took time to explain exactly what they were doing, advising on different options and getting our sign off on any variations to the original plan before doing anything. They were always friendly, tidy and profession and now the work is finished we genuinely miss having them around!Even after his stage of the work was complete, Ben was really helpful if giving contacts for other trades and even helped coordinate some of this, regularly checking in to ensure everything was going to plan and on schedule.Couldn’t recommend them more highly!

We recently worked with Ben on a project at which we delivered the piling works for Trafford Builders. Ben prepared the site for us to the required specification so that we could undertake the piling for an extension which he was building for the customer.Even though Ben was on holiday at the time of our piling works, he maintained consistent contact with ourselves and his customer so that everyone was on the same page throughout the works, displaying to myself (who oversaw the delivery of the piling) a level of professionalism and care which any person looking to have works undertaken on there home should seek as a priority.
