We visited twice. Unique landscape.Amazing murmurations. So many birds and we saw the Pink footed geese fly over early morning. Worth getting up early for.

Long walk to viewing area but well worth it. Amazing to see all the waders coming in off the beach at high tide. One of the best wildlife spectacles I have seen.

Decent sized carpark, with a short walk to the reserve area, 4 hides facing both inland to the pits as well as out to the sea. We saw plenty of birds on both sides. Be aware there are no toilets on site nor is there a visitor centre. RSPB members can park for free, check the website for details.

A slightly strange walk from the carpark to a surreal beach and mudflat landscape! Very atmospheric on a misty day, with great flocks of birds moving weirdly in the distance.

Fantastic birding spot, the mud flats provide great habitat for many birds you may struggle to see elsewhere. However, be prepared for a decent walk from the car park. Which, if you are up for it is very worth the effort.

Great reserve was pleased to spot a long tailed duck or two along with a good variety of other birds.Car park is OK. The paths are well maintained, but the site could do with some toilets

Had a great day at RSPB Snettisham and saw many birds along the shore and in the lagoons. Do time it well if you want to see the spectaculars (there’s info on the website about what days and times to go) but great place even if you don’t see them. The new hide at the south end is well designed and even has cushions to borrow.

No map of the site in the carpark (and very difficult to find one online) so no real sense of how far you need to go to get to the hides. Also no information there or online over what is considered a high enough tide to get a really good showing of birds onto the lake which means unless your local and willing to experiment by going at various high tides (or know someone who has done this already) then you are very very unlikely to go at the right time. There are better reserves in the local area if you want to see wading birds in their natural habitat and are not bothered by the big gatherings.A simple map and a best days to go" would have gone a million miles. To be fair though

Lovely walks around the lakes & along the coast. Tricky with a buggy due to there being stairs that it's needed csrrying over and down
