Pickup taken there for recall under warranty recentlyWalked into the commercial reception, three members of staff who didn’t appear to be busy watched me park and walk in, to then inform me I had wrong department, sent to service area, waited for an employee to finish on phone at the front desk as five other employees were talking at a desk nearby, no one attempted to assist, informed I should walk to next area, the service reception- at last right location!No fault with the service reception staff from here onwards until I returned to collect my vehicle.As I walked out of the dealership to kill some time off site I witnessed my pickup being driven hard and far too fast a speed to the workshop ( something Ford have stated in the recall letter to not do, along with towing)For 12 months I have been extra careful not to cause any undue stress to my rear differential when I knew they could possibly be defective- this was deeply concerning.Vehicle failed the recall test, crack detected in differential, that’s when you find out how good the customer service offered is-Such a bizarre series of events then evolved, from compounding my vehicle at that location with no vehicle available for my return (60 miles) not knowing which dealership would repair the fault and not having any staff to drive me home( although I constantly observed staff walking about who didn’t appear to be busy)At one point I was told if I was to take my vehicle I would have to sign a disclaimer and take full responsibility for any further damages/ costs.Eventually I returned home, not signing anything and taking care on journey home arriving safely- with a very negative experience and view of Preston Transit centre - surely this isn’t what the Ford Motor company would be proud of, how can a company as established as this still be trading on such poor levels of service- I expected a far more positive experience?All of this negativity will be in my mind when I come to upgrade this vehicle- something Ford need to understand, just because there may be no bonus or profit related to my visit that day in the showroom, someone has had the bonus previously and this should be remembered until I return to replace my vehicle- what happened to “ the customer is always right “ attitude- clearly not adhered to here ?- very poor, come on Ford up your game, please, your competitors are leaving you way behind- this kind of service may of been acceptable in the past but not now in this modern world of communication- I will be taking this matter up with the complaints department
