Donkey Dell Dog Exercise Fields

On holiday in area looking for secure field to exercise a Mali and ESS. Hadn't realised its lead walk from both car parks to a very small heras fenced corner of the field. The shelter is good, and there is a poo dustbin by the gate, which is realy hard to open and close, especially with two dogs on leads pulling. The mini jumps are nice but the seesaw needs condemning. Not somewhere for a walk, good for training a specific goal. Water is in milk cartons by the outside of the gate, some looking a little green.

Haven’t been since earlier on in the year as I found other options but our dogs enjoyed themselves and the owner was lovely when we went over our time after my friends dog I was walking refused to let me put her lead on her so I had to wait for her to be collected! It’s hard to make an hour out of it as the field is small. The small shelter helped on the drizzly days. Lots of parking space when you park closer to the field, the small car park near the road wouldn’t be suitable for dogs who are wary of horses as you have to walk right next to a horse/donkey field to reach the dog field. Could do with a portable toilet. The seesaw is totally unsafe for use and needs to be removed.

We booked Donkey Dell Dog Fields for 6:30 a.m. half hour blocks whilst we're on holiday.Both the online booking system and email reminders before you go are great.It takes roughly 25 minutes to get there from North Walsham where we're staying and is a lovely pretty drive with the trees overhanging the road in places.Having somewhere for our two border collies to go and just take the edge off them before the days adventures is great. A quiet, safe secure field.

The owner was extremely rude to me, there was an issue with her booking system. She confirmed that we had made a payment but was convinced we had the wrong time and made us leave, speaking to us through a camera that she clearly couldn’t hear us through. I tried to explain that I had proof of the time and that she was wrong, and that I would email this to her, but she would not listen and still demanded that we leave. Mistakes happen, but being rude to paying customers is not something I will tolerate, that could have been handled differently and I should not have been made to feel like we had broken in to her field and misused it. I will not be returning.

Easy to book a time slot online and finding the place was easy too. Nice and quiet place, perfect for my over excited pup to enjoy some off lead time. Car park is secure and a short walk to nicely sized secure space to burn off some energy. Lovely owner who was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back.

Thoroughly rude and confrontational owner. We apologised for the minor error however she continued to reprimand us and even upset my six year old grandson with the manner in which she spoke to us. Small unkempt field ok for our needs but poo dustbin was full of live maggots. Last time we will be visiting.

Our first time going to Donkey Dell and it definitely won't be our last! Easy booking system online, lovely clear secure field and great parking close by to that. I have an American bulldog who is scared of pretty much everything and living so close to the city makes our walks anxiety filled from the beginning for us both. To see my dog just being able to be a dog care free and safe was one of the best hours I've spent with her in a long time! There was a lovely little shelter and bench, several water bowls and jugs of water, a box with lots of different toys, a bin to dispose of waste and some lovely agility type things available to use. Definitely worth the money and we can't wait to return soon!

We had the chance to meet up with my dogs brother as they hadn't met since tiny puppies I thought a secure field would be good it was perfect. Car park secure to get them out of the cars and really well equipped, Thank you we will be back

Not for me. I've been to many exercise fields and this one I found to be sparse, small and unsuitable.It is surrounded by metal fencing - I would recommend putting screening around so reactive dogs can't get upset by everything else in the fields around it.I would also recommend removing the bucket of broken balls and throw toys - who wants to play with half tennis balls covered in mud?Also, there is a see-saw, which is too high for dogs with no experience of such things, and could do real harm to themselves falling off from that height.

Im on holiday and wanted a secure area for my lurchers to have a run. Its a fairly small area but fine for a run around. There were 2 poo bins and some fresh water. I find it unbelievable that people still fail to pick up after their dogs, just disrespectful. I would use it again, fair price too.
