Amazing customer service - I needed some door hardware and they couldn't do enough to help me find a knob and letterbox that would fit - even letting me take something home to test on the door for potential fit.Sure you can try and pick something on the internet - but honestly, this shop is a gem, and its worthwhile going in and talking to them. Their prices are also very reasonable - particularly if you factor in this kind of support.I will definitely make a point of using them when I need hardware items.

This is an excellent family run store. They house most items you need for DIY, even the ones you can't find in big stores. I found the staff to be friendly and extremely helpful. I was after a peculiar item and they helped sourced it for me and I came in the next day to pick it up... now that's what I call a great personalised service! All reasonably priced, too.

The entire team go out of their way to be helpful and are very knowledgeable - which is an accomplishment in a shop selling such a huge variety of products. And when they don’t have the exact item in-store they are very happy to source and order in the right item. Couldn’t be any happier with their service and quality if goods. Totally satisfied customer!

I have been using Chiswick Hardware since 2004 and I always get excellent customer service and find what I’m looking for. Agata and Viktor the current staff are always very polite and helpful and the owner Verdi will always go out of his way to source anything you need if it’s not in stock. I’m a firm believer in ‘mend and make do’ and try to fix something before throwing it away. I also believe in supporting local independently run businesses. Chiswick Hardware is the only place that carries a wide range of screws,nuts and bolts, amongst other items, which you can’t get in the bigger DIY stores. They also stock a wide range of reasonably priced high quality door handles and fixtures and fittings for that special touch to your home. I would thoroughly recommend you try Chiswick Hardware store before going anywhere else.Nilesh

Great service and wide range of products, however I find some items overpriced. I am a believer in shopping local, but with the cost of living increases I would also say to look after your own pocket too

Excellent shop, the only place I could get a 10amp fuse for the daft Bosch dishwasher. It is clearly a good old-fashioned you know they'll have it" shop."

I was after a small piece for my Ikea dishwasher and these guys were very friendly and helpful. Spent ages helping me sort out what I was looking for and even spoke to my husband on the phone to get an idea of how the dishwasher functioned. I will definitely be coming back here when I need more hardware bits.
