St Kenelm's Church
Now cared for by The Churches Conservation Trust this church is in a beautiful location in historic village associated with the Arts & Crafts movement. The church is medieval with later additions especially in the 18th Century. There are three exceptional tombs inside plus amazing Jacobean carvings from a demolished house - pew ends are marvelous. Church yard includes tombs of leading Arts & Crafts artists plus the tomb of Rebekah Mason, first wife of the surveyor Charles Mason of the famous Mason-Dixon line separating North from South in the USA (between Pennsylvania and Maryland and hence the dividing line between slavery and no slavery in the US Civil War).

St Kenelm's Church
This mainly 13thc church (though there has been a church here since 1090) is looked after by the church conservation trust. The inside is full of interest. Wonderful jacobean panelling, fantastic Tombs and architecture. This place is a delight for the eyes. Parking on road and can be tricky to get a space I'd imagine at busy times.

St Kenelm's Church
Lovely church in an arts-and-crafts village with some of the notables from that movement buried in the churchyard. Some fine - and unusual - wood carvings inside the baroque style interior as well some gorgeous effigies.

St Kenelm's Church
Perfect village church with lots history. Huge monuments to Sir Henry Poole and Sir Robert Aytkins who lived in a huge Elizabethan mansion that used to stand on the terraces in the field below the church. Woodwork in the church from the demolished mansion. Important for the Arts & Crafts Movement at the beginning of the 20th century. Ernest Gimson and the Barnsley brothers Ernest and Sidney moved here, designed and built their own houses. The worshipped here and are buried under simple tombs under the Yew trees by the gate. E Barnsley designed and built the village hall and a pair of cottages. Gimson's assistant converted 3 cottages to form Batchelors Court. Carefully restored (In an unrestored way) and looked after. So peaceful...

St Kenelm's Church
An absolutely outstanding church. Looked after by the Church Conservation Trust this is like a revisit to the eighteenth century. It has box pews, balconies and stunning decor. Perhaps the best in the Cotswolds.
