Bike Fit Yeovil

I was recommended by a friend and will now be recommending to anyone and everyone. Bike Fit Yeovil is a brilliant, small professional set up with impressive knowledge and skill in bike fitting and repair. Nick will fight for you to have the best deal, without you even knowing the effort he has put in! Nick takes pride in his work and it shows in the quality and timescale of his work. I will not use another bicycle expert in the South West so long as BikeFit Yeovil has space for my bike issues!

Nick is a highly capable fitter who is clearly passionate about bike fitting and well up to date with the latest techniques and theories in the area. I had issues with left leg and knee caused by a previous fit, and the detail Nick went in to ensuring each aspect of my fit was correct was far in advance of he service I had received previously. I cant recommend Nick highly enough...oh, and he is an experienced bike mechanic and builds bikes!

Fantastic experience with Nick and Bike Fit Yeovil. Nick helped me source the best bike within my budget and for the race I had signed up for. He was very professional and had a wonderful holistic approach including advice on insoles, seats, tyres etc, as well as some race day tips. I was looking for a bike fit so I can help make an informed purchase on my new bike; in terms of crank length and frame size etc.The bike fit in his workshop was brilliant. I also had knee pain which has since gone on my existing bike. Nick also correctly identified the shoes I needed too which feel far more comfortable than my previous ones.Additionally, his mechanical knowledge is good too identifying an issue with my derailleur that I hadn't noticed.I would recommend Nick if you need a trustworthy knowledgeable bike fitting service and bike mechanic.

An easy review for me, probably my most gushing review but without Nick I think I would have given up road-cycling so no hesitation in recommending Nick for everything bike related: he should be your first port of call. I've been through lots of bike fits and swapped many saddles etc in the hope of getting less uncomfortable on my bike such that I had resigned myself to a life of discomfort or just packing it in. Then I was recommended that I see Nick for a fancy saddle. Nick though, quite rightly, went back to first principes with a bike fit which was immediately better than anything before, reducing numbness in my hands and neck/shoulder trouble. He spotted a correction needed for my feet by moving the pedals apart and by fitting bespoke insoles which have since given me no aches or pain in my feet or knees. Marvellous. The big one for me was to get the saddle and position right. I'd failed to do this for 5 years having tried about two dozen saddles. Nick said he wouldn't give up until we get it right and although I was skeptical, he persisted and I now have well fitted and positioned saddle on both my road bike and turbo. I no longer have a mental barrier to riding because of the thought of the subsequent pain/healing to come and it has changed my attitude to getting on my bike completely.Oh, and of course Nick can sort out bike servicing too. The best thing to do is just ask Nick to do what is needed - he knows better than I do what that is and I completely trust him to do that and to do it well. Lastly, Nick is approachable and very patient.

Nick has a great understanding of cycling and provides a friendly service to help any level of cyclist . I went to him with a knee problem through cycling that I thought was going to stop me training ... one bike fit and the problem is gone , I feel comfortable on my bike and my speeds have improved also . A great service and a very helpful man , I would highly recommend him for any cycling problems you have .

Have been using Nick the past couple of years to service and repair my bikes. Highly professional and clearly lays out the options & costs. All work carried out in a timely manner and to high levels.Recently had a complete Bike fit. Nick listened to my goals and what I wanted to get out of the fit. His advice and knowledge is fascinating. Riding the bike this weekend, was a complete joy. All discomfort & pain gone.Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Update 16/09 - After having my bike fit done, I was hoping for a slight improvement and to be more comfortable on my bike. The results I experienced far exceeded what I thought possible. The comfort on the bike has been so much better since, but the power I can now put through has increased so much more than I thought possible. If you are in two minds about doing this, don't be, it's the best value improvement/upgrade I could of made. One thing you do need to have is patience though, it took about 5-6 rides for me to start seeing the difference, but once my body adapted, it has made me so much better on my bike.Nick provides a first class service and I would recommend anyone tempted to have a bike fit to book up. I found his help brilliant and more than just a “bike fit”. He’s taken time and patience with me to help me get the most out of my bike and kit.
