We enlisted the services of an international shipping agent to ship two cars to Cyprus. Southern Counties Car Deliveries were sub contracted to collect the cars and deliver to Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. We were told the cars would be collected mid morning and taken directly to Hoddesdon, where they would be kept in a secure carpark until the shipping date.The first car was collected as agreed, the second driver did not show up and we were not contacted to say the second driver was not on the way. We called to find out what the issue was and we were informed they had a driver issue and we would be contacted within the hour. If you knew you had a driver issue, why not let your customer know? We were not contacted until 2pm and were told a driver would arrive by 4pm at the latest. This also did not happen as the driver arrived around 6pm. This is unacceptable as my farther who handed over the cars was due to go to work that day.We have a tracker in the car so decided to track it that evening, to see if the car had arrived at the destination. To our complete shock, the car was 100 miles away from its drop off destination and was in fact in Portsmouth. We pulled up the satellite image of where the car was, only to find it was not even in a secure car park but at somebody’s HOUSE on an estate!The car was then driven back past where they collected it from in Surrey the day before and taken to the correct destination. This company is absolutely outrageous to think it’s ok to breach the contract and use our car for their personal use, to go to their own home 100 miles away from where it should have been and leave it out on the street completely unsecured.To add insult to injury, they used every last drop of the fuel. When the car arrived in Cyprus, we had to go and fill up a petrol container as it didn’t even have enough petrol to start the engine.The shipping company who were just as shocked, compensated £100 on their behalf but given the extra mileage and the empty fuel tank that doesn’t even cover it! When confronted with the tracker evidence, they admitted to using the car for their driver to take home. If you were not able to get a driver then you should have just picked the car up the next day or how about pick up the phone and have a conversation, it could have been easily rectified.We requested a manager call to discuss further but did not get a call back and have had no apology. It’s beggars belief in this day an age that a company behaves in this way. It’s fair to say we would definitely not recommend or most importantly trust this company with your cars.

Had a Jeep Renegade delivered from Southampton to South Yorkshire yesterday .Excellent service from the delivery guy. An absolute credit to your company.Thank you kind man.
