The Lodge
Lark Lane is becoming ever more gentrified. Not so with a couple holdouts, the Lodge being one of them. If you want a room with a few friends, and a choice of real ales and great lagers, this is the place.Great place to catch a match as well.With my wife ailing today I called in a a meat pie with the mushy peas and Mashers, and the takeaway really hit the spot. Solid and authentic food.

The food was really poor quality and barely edible. The fries looked and tasted as if they were days old. The burger was full of fat and devoid of flavour. Not worth the money at all.

We booked for Sunday Lunch to celebrate a birthday. The roast was delicious. We had 5 different vegetables on our plates, all freshly cooked.The service was excellent, with our order delivered promptly ( 11 family members including children) and being hot. We also enjoyed sweets that were plentiful and tasty.Would certainly recommend this pub and we will be back.Thank you to the staff for adding candles to the birthday cake we provided.

Foods a 5 cause it was amazing, the staff were 5 star friendly, an although your entertainment was 5 star my little boy dancing an vibing gives you an extra; so full marks +1

It was early afternoon so very quiet but service was spot on and staff were really pleasant and chilled, I had the burger which was spot on with chunky chips that were awesome partner had BLT sandwich and chips couldn't finish it but loved it, looking forward to going back and taking my dogs .
