Ansty Golf Centre

I used to love coming here to use the driving range I like to go here to clear my head and sometimes that means I just want to hit balls and leave. Unfortunately now you have to go inside and pay for the balls on card and can no longer use the machines by the driving range, it has ruined the whole experience for me I won't be returning here unless they put the machines back in use. I'm very disappointed Ansty golf centre,please bring the machines back!

Played here this morningStarted very well we received a great welcome at the bar/reception then at our booked tee slot playedI have to say 8 mins between each group is a little tight especially if you have groups of four, so we were held up a little.I have to save the ground team are doing a fantastic job Course was a pleasure to play and you can see it’s well controlled except for a hole 14 where they have now use the temporary tee is the main tee and is in poor condition Little disappointed as I used to love playing the old 14th tee through the trees.All the greens are in fantastic condition. Overall we had a really good game of golf highly recommend playing hereBut once again we felt let down, mainly because no food finished after 3 1/2 hours went to the little lunch. Nothing on offer except for well done. Sausage rolls and bacon.? so if we went to McDonald’s hotel you’re missing a bit tricky folks not everyone wants just a pint but will see you again next year

I have to say played this place 5 times in last two years and today was the best experience. Not because my golf was good as it was less then average but the greens have massively improved and the course in general looks as though it’s never been better maintained. Well done to the ground keepers terrific job. Staff lovely and very helpful. Yeah great day all round. Thank you. Brett

Course is in great condition in comparison to when I played here over a year ago. Staff were welcoming and friendly, However experience was ruined as Two groups in front of us teed off in four balls and then decided to play an 8 ball scramble from the third hole onwards which meant pace of play was stupidly slow. They didn’t once offer to let anyone play through and wasn’t even playing ready golf meaning that it took over 5 hours to play 18 holes. No marshal on the course whatsoever on a Saturday meaning they could do as they pleased causing frustration for several groups of golfers following. Naturally causing a very slow stop start game. They need a course marshal especially on the weekend to stop this type of thing happening as it seems once people are out on the course anything goes. Needless to say we won’t be playing here again on a weekend anytime soon and will go to a visitor course where people respect tee times and general golf etiquette.

Affordable golf course with some great holes, greens are in good condition, fairways have minimal divots and tee boxes are clear. Great course for the price and the club house stays open late.

The atmosphere around the course is awful and the staff didn't seem to care.Went to play 18 holes as a 3 baller. With one of being new to the sport and his frist time of playing 18 holes. There was a multiple incidents with groups behind us. With them hitting a ball in to the back of us, landing 2yds behind us on more than one occasion.After letting them though to hopefully adviod the problem for the rest of our round , the group behind then ended up getting abusive towards us. This resulted in us raising this to the staff at the club house. who did nothing to resolve any issues. They told us we should have booked for a less busy day rather than coming up with a solution.So we decide to leave after only doing 8 of the holes out of the 18. Since the round was ruined by other users on the course. This isn't the frist time, when playing here that behavior like this as happend. other people behavior really ruins this golf course for other users.

Football golf! Highly recommended! If you’re after fun and laughter with your mates or family then this is the place to come. Hilarious and very competitive afternoon
