Bought a ps4 from this store and it started freezing wen I played a game. Took it back to the shop as I only owned it for 2 weeks and was told by the lovely guy who called himself the manager that the item wasnt faulty and I couldn't get a refund. He said by leaving it on in the store for 30 mins it would determine if there was a fault. I told him it was defective and I didn't want it to which he replied we can buy it from u at half the price u paid for it. Absolutely shocking. I'll never be in this store again

Was looking for a 02 unlocked mobile, got to my car and tried setting it up, it wasn't unlocked, took it back to the shop and they gave me another phone, this also wasn't unlocked and incorrect network, they gave me another phone, it wasn't charged so they told me to take it home and charge it , I charged it in the car I wasn't taking any chances. Big surprise it was the wrong network, finally got the correct phone when I took it back , these young boys should put down there pipes and pay attention to inspection and labelling the phone correctly, absolute shambles.

great helpful staff always find thay go the extra mile. I'm not a gamer but my young son plays a PS3 and counter staff always help out about what games he would be able to work.the counter staff are a credit to the CEX chain.great serviceregards Noel

Seriously, don't waste your time or money. You're not getting anything worth while here. Anything you buy won't actually work properly and you're not saving all that much. Just fork out the bit extra and buy brand new. At least that way you know it will work properly.

Took in a cannon M50 to trade in offered me 220 for a grade a body and lense when there offering 220 for a grade b body only I did notify them of that and they told me they can only go by what's on the system shocking they staff need trained or there trained to rip people off also had charger box battery SD card and carry bag terrible and they would have sold it on for 360 or possibly more if they sold it all seperatly

First time I went, staff were polite and helpful, looked up my info from the Swansea shop where I bought the laptop and I was told that I would be able to get a refund or have it repaired, and I chose to have it repaired. I left in good form.Second time I was told that the warranty says void due to a missing screw but that they'd repair it for the price of the components, which was fine by me as well, though the laptop wasn't exactly in the best of nick when I got it and the girl at the counter was pretty rude.The third time I went in they'd done nothing with the laptop, but the staff were again polite and nice and I was told that a refund or repair wouldn't be a problem, but that I would have to wait (which I couldn't do because I had a flight later that day, and I had already been waiting for a week.)The fourth time, my mother went in and was told I'd not be getting a refund *or* a repair, goodwill or otherwise.Overall, this dragged on for two weeks.I don't understand how the shop manages to continue to run with this atrocious level of communication. I was told I'd get updates on the progress of my laptop via phone (didn't happen) and was told totally different things every time I visited. I could live with being messed around with the warranty, but all the inconsistencies meant I didn't have time to order a new laptop before I left the country. I'm now going to make a point of making sure no-one I know buys anything more expensive than a game from here because the staff, while (mostly) nice, don't seem to know what's going on one day to the next (possibly through no fault of their own, seems like a management issue to me)

happily sells fake games for full price. I was looking at the games and noticed they were fake. i warned them about it and wanted to let them know what to look out for, they shrugged me off and not a day later they had it back on the shelf. pokemon games are expensive enough. Dont sell fake games and pass them off as real.
