What a bunch of liars these people are - first they sold the off rice (3 large portions) and when I made a complaint, they agreed to subsitute the rice and when I got back to take back, aparently they forgot their deal and refused the whole deal completely, I have spoken to the owner of the restaurant and he is rude and absolutely no customer service at all. He could not understand the fact that we spent almost £75 on the menu and could only eat £10 worth of food. I would not recommend this place for takeaway.

Best chapli kebab in town. Period. Food and service never disappoint - go with some mates and get the 3 chapli kebab + Peshawari naan deal and some chicken charsi karahi. Sorted.

I was there yesterday and they charged 5 pounds extra although being a regular customer the quantity of food was also less! When asked why 5 pounds they mentioned as service charge they didn’t do anything much the guy only came 2 times to my table and they charge 5 pounds for that? Even central London is not charging 5 pounds extra so bad not going to come back again worst service that too to a regular customer

Chapli kebab was amazing, so fresh and soft highly recommend it. The charsi karahi chicken was delicious and extremely tasty. Second time i have been and it did not disappoint

Venue: Afghan Palace (Tooting)Date of Visit: 01/2022I came for a meal with my parents.The decor is a bit outdated.It serves tasty food yet it could have been served warmer. We waited around 35 minutes (a bit long I reckon).The prices are a higher than they should be based on serving size. I paid around £32 in total for the following:4 Roti1 Grilled Fish1 Daal Mash1 Afghani Tikka1 Chicken Tikka2 Seekh kebabOverall, Afghan Palace is a decent place to eat out but improvements are needed.Final score: 3/5

Great taste. Although the staff and service could be better and could have suggested some of their foods as an upselling technique. But over all, we were happy with the food that we had ordered like lamb Kadhai, grill platter large , naan, chicken deeg, afghani pulao. It was all amazing. Will definitely recommend for the taste

I saw the guy (who he said was owner) arguing with a customer, and honestly, you dont want to argue with these people, best to eat and go, if you have anything wrong with the food well best to swallo it or just leave it otherwise they will get violent with you. I would not recommend this place, kebabs are oily, kabali pilao seemed outdated, not worth the money. May i remind the owner that he is in the service industry and arguing like this with the customer could be very costly, especially when you are using cash only sign as anyone can report them to HMRC by evading tax.

I had a chance to deal with the owner of the business and he is very and arrogant and has no manners whatsoever. I would not recommend this place especially for the takeaway, there are better options out there. They sold us a date rice and then refused to honour their deal they had with us.

Delay in food arriving starters arrived with mains well over 30 minutes. The place is not scrupuosly kept clean. There was broken glass on floor which at my request was swept up and there was a dead fly on the floor. Lots of flying insects come in at night which is off putting. Food is generally cooked good and tasty although not impressesd with lamb seekh kebab which were too thick in texture and too much ginger taste.
