Duncliffe Wood Car Park
Such a great place to walk the dog. The various loops mean you can stride out or amble along. Beautiful carpets of blue bells in spring makes up for the mud in winter. Great for the kids to den build and fabulous bird/nature watching. Always remember at beauty spots like this to never leave valuables on show!

For a great walk amongst nature. Fairly quiet. Don't leave anything on view in your car, apparently thieves can operate in the area, like many other places.. Car park not suitable for campers or anything above 2 metres, theren is a height barrier. Free to park which is a plus.

Duncliff woods are great for lovely walks especially if you have a dog ,the car park is free & you can do short or long walks there are some lovely views along the way it's well worth a visit .

Beautiful walks! If you stick to the main paths they’re very nice underfoot. If you aim for the smaller ones be prepared for mud (we were there in Jan).Car park says 2m but there’s no way it’s that tall. I’m 5’4

Fantastic place for a walk, good size car park with no charges. There are a number of walks to take, see the signs at various points on the walk for route markers. The paths leading to the top of the cliff are quite taxing but worth it for the views at the top. The woods are very quite and great for dog walking as well without out a dog. Well worth a visit.

Nice little carpark for a range of walks.Unfortunately targeted by thieves so don't leave any valuables in your car/on show.Information board at the start of the trail that shows the different walking routes and bridleways.

Though it's a little small, not much more than a small patch of stone and dirt at the side of the road, it does afford you the ability to go into duncliffe woods.I used to visit the woods quite a lot with family and the odd times with friends when I was growing up close by and we loved visiting it.I distinctly remember the smell of the place in the summer months (a pleasant smell) and seeing carpets of beautiful blue flowers blanketing the woodland floor.It's not huge but it's well worth a walk around.If you're not local then finding it can be a bit of a challenge but once you're there you'll love it.
