My family and I went this evening for a Christmas meal, small children, adults ( including vegetarians) and two dogs all had a great meal with Fantastic service and atmosphere.Dessert was yummy, especially the st clements tart. Would recommend this venue and food to everyone

We were a big group, and this can often be a challenge when it comes to the bill and working out who owes what. I really liked your way that let us go up the bar to order, pay there and then and once everyone was done, the food still comes out at the same time.The staff were exceptional, they really made us feel welcome and made sure we had what we needed. They were friendly, polite and we enjoyed a laugh with them.

This pub is Brilliant for humans and pooches alike! The staff are very accommodating and the food is lovely! I’m sure our dog would also rate 5 ⭐️ for her dinners here too!! They hold lots of great events too and the the Friday Quiz is a family favourite!! We 100% recommend!

We had booked a table last minute and when we arrived we had our dogs and the lady was very accommodating in finding us a table as they didn’t have any dog friendly ones straight away. By the time we had got a drink they had found us a table. The lady who was seating people was very helpful and a credit to the pub. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Came for family meal, the staff were all amazing especially Roxanne. Brilliant . Just a shame about the food. Under cooked chips, very pale. overcooked peas looked grey not green very very chewy sirloin steak. No apple crumble, ran out no lollyice ran out no Guinness ran out, such a shame wouldn't really want to go back. Sorry.

Easy booking system, greeted upon arrival, directed to seat. Menu with lots of choice. Barman quickly took our order and checked it was correct. Meals for.5 arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. Food was hot and tasty. Cleaned our plates. Would recommend. Management where in the area if there was any problems.

Been to the trigger pond on many occasions and always had a great experience but not today unfortunately. We booked to celebrate my mums 83rd birthday waiting on staff brilliant but been at the table for 15 minutes when Katrina the manager came over and informed us that the table was booked out again at 4pm we ordered our food and at 3.00pm again informed that the table was booked at 4pm we felt rushed as she kept on asking if we wanted to order any puddings we certainly wanted to order another drink but we felt uncomfortable and did not order anything else my wife had ordered a steak which is not cheap and she is a slow eater we were again told at 3.20 that the table was booked at 4 pm we asked if we could have a container to take the steak home she said no but you can have some foil customers came in and this offer was forgotten we quickly finished our drinks and left .As customers we felt totally undervalued and had a terrible experience we felt today was all about the trigger making money and not customer service or enjoyment I don’t think we will be going back anytime soon.

Went to eat here on 22/09/23 around 18:10pm. The manager who looks like Colonel Sanders is highly unprofessional. Upon arrival we've asked for a low table for 2, he said he doesn't have any and if we choose to wait it'll be 1 hour. 5 mins later another couple came overheard them speaking to the same manager they came without booking and this manager gave them a low table. I raised this up with the same manager and he said he using a cane. I told him how can you judge me you don't know if I have a hidden disability or even an injury. He just looked away without any apology, typical lousy manager. Also the Mac and Cheese £10.75 for this small plate. I don't think that it's worth it, you can decide based on the picture. I had fish and chips here before which would have been better value for money.We were interested in making a reservation for Christmas Day & Boxing Day however after this managers handling of this situation we won't proceed.

Excellent staff and service. Food and drink choices very good. It took an hour from ordering food to getting to the table.Nice comfortable pub with a pleasant atmosphere.Plenty of parking spaces.

Having lived in Warrington for the last 3 years, we never miss a weekly visit to the trigger pond. There are not many dog friendly pubs which have the most fantastic, vibrant and friendly staff who welcome us all to join them. They know us all by name and are brilliantly personal and attentive. Welcomed by the owner at the door Carina who always takes care of us and everyone else who visits. Her team are fabulous behind the bar and even come to visit our dogs who love the attention. Chris and Ben to only mention a couple of names are always smiling and happy to help. The food is exceptional. Great pub food menu with plenty to choose from and is always fresh and hot! I can’t recommend enough. Come and visit especially on a Friday as the pub quiz they host is excellent. Free entertainment for the weekend with prizes just for entering. What more can you ask for? Great and vibrant atmosphere every time.
