I'm very impressed with the level of care, support and expertise provided to me during quite a stressful time trying to find the right wheelchair for my father. From the beginning, Stacey from Care Plus Mobility always made me feel that she wanted to find the right mobility solution for my father and offered a range of choices after a thorough set of home assessments. OK, so you may think that you can Google your way to the right wheelchair, but I’d advise anyone to seek professional help, and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Care Plus Mobility. The delivery of the wheelchair was quicker than I’d expected and Stacey made sure that my father was happy with all aspects of his new Powerchair before she left. Since he’s take delivery of it, there has been one or two adjustments necessary but Stacey made sure these happened quickly and effectively. My father’s life in a residential setting has now been transformed, largely due to the services provide by Care Plus Mobility - thank you.

Fantastic, caring, compassionate company willing to go the extra mile to help.My son and I were lucky enough to get tickets to the Eurovision Grand Final, to celebrate his 18th birthday. Having a chronic illness and being physically impaired, I was very worried at how I was going to manage with such a full on weekend schedule. I gave Care Plus Mobility a call on the vague off chance that they hired self propelled wheelchairs, and they do! Very reasonably priced at £5 a day!! I had the choice of 3 and, being quite petite, decided on a sports chair which suited my frame and made self propelltion much more comfortable. To ensure my comfort and independence, the lovely lady I dealt with also lent me a memory foam seat cushion and a storage bag / walking stick holder.I've tried wheelchairs before, for short periods of time, and have both a mobility scooter and rollator. I hate them. This chair was a game changer, and made me feel less disabled rather than more.We had a very busy 3 days. Normally I would have really struggled with both fatigue and pain, but in this chair I was able to genuinely enjoy the experience with considerably less pain and fatigue. It enabled me to pace myself so I was able to be in the moment with my son, and he was able to fully and thoroughly enjoy himself without worrying about me. We are both able to look back on an incredible experience with very positive memories.On returning the chair to the shop I spoke to both Stacey, the owner, and staff relaying what a difference the chair had made to our experience. She very kindly offered to sell me the chair, at a price that it would have been rude to refuse!I've used the chair several times since, each time feeling more confident and less ashamed of my difficulties. Thank you. Your care and kindness have made such a positive difference for both me and my family.

I have had an extremely efficient and pleasant service with Care Plus Mobility. Big thank you to Stacey especially, for visiting me at home with the electric wheelchairs and accessories requested, answered all my questions and was highly knowledgeable about the products themselves as well as the insurance policies and warranties. Stacey also showed me how to drive my chair by demonstrating in the chair before I tried driving it and drove along beside me in one of the other chairs I requested to try out. I was given great advice on driving and the best speed settings and joystick movements on sloping grounds and manholes (which I got stuck on whilst trying out one of the chairs) to avoid going onto roads or getting stuck. I have followed the advice and I am able to drive safely and easily, no problems with slopes, curbs, corners or manhole covers at all! Driving has come naturally to me and the advice I was given really helped with learning.Very fast service also, was able to get a home visit within about a week after calling to request one and after deciding which electric wheelchair was best for my needs, my custom chair was made up within around 6 weeks. I am very pleased with my new electric! I can drive it with such ease and it is so much more comfortable than my old manual wheelchair (which was from a different company), having the highest backrest is so much better for my Scoliosis and complex regional pain syndrome, the seat cushion is also a lot more comfortable than my old one despite the new cushion only being the free standard cushion which you get with the electric wheelchair. The chair has plenty of room leftover when I sit down so I am not squashed in and gives me freedom to position myself which is much better because of my chronic pelvic pain and other pains I experience when sitting.Going outside is so much easier, I have so much more freedom and independence as well as a much more comfortable and less painful journey whenever I venture out. Got the hang of charging the battery and taking the chair apart for indoor storage and putting the chair back together when I need to go out, very easy to do with my parents help as I lack strength and the movement to do it myself because of my neurological condition, but I know how to. When taken apart and folded down my chair fits into cars which is exactly what I needed as well. Also, the joystick rain cover I purchased from Care Plus is great, makes no interference with the joystick control and protects it from the rain as well as my hand. The free day glow wheelchair bag is another thing I'm really pleased with, it's extremely roomie and can fit all my medical appliances and medications inside which I need to take with me whenever I go out, and it leaves plenty of room to fit some shopping in as well because of how deep it is! It provides safety for driving on darker days with it's day glow which is a great bonus too.Overall I have had a wonderful experience with Care Plus Mobility and would definitely recommend it!
