Prices have rocketed. £10 for a panini?! £11 for a basic breakfast! No thank you! It's more expensive to eat here, like for like, than in Windermere or Bowness and central Lake District. Perhaps they are milking it as they are the only food provider @J36 events.

The staff were really friendly and helpful when I called in for a salad. The chef made me a delicious chicken salad with ingredients such as pickled radish (a revelation!) and super fresh salad veg. It's by 1818 auctioneers off the M6 at Crooklands. Well worth a stop as an alternative to service station fare.

What a lovely little cafe this is, perfect if your on a long journey, as it is a simple turn off from the motorway.All the ingredients are very high quality, has to be one of the nicest breakfast baps I've ever had. Went all down an absolute treat along with the lovely fresh Latte.Would highly recommend popping in for a breakfast with friends, there is plenty of options to pick from! 5/5

Came here as we were staying over nearby and this seemed to be the most local but unfortunately it is somewhere we didn’t come back to because the food was okay, ridiculously expensive. £3.50 for a couple of slices of toast or one tea cake. The coffee was very bitter. I got the decaf having a caffeine sensitivity but it was very bitter and tasted funny. My son got a cappuccino and he also couldn’t drink his saying it tasted funny, which it did and it was also mostly foam and very little coffee. We paid £14.50 for one tea, one cappuccino and one decaf latte with one toasted tea cake and 2 slices of toast so yeah, not great. The teacake was very dry, as though it was past it’s best before. Even though this was our most local place for breakfast we did travel further the following days. Disappointed.

Staff were nice. I had one beef and horseradish, one cheese savoury and a flat white to Takeaway - it cost £15.10 !!! The beef was tough and not enjoyable and the cheese savoury had barely anything in it. The quality didn’t reflect the price, disappointing.

Called in here on our way back home from Windermere.The food was amazing, had a large breakfast, good amount and good quality.One member of staff was great (dark hair) the other was a very moody mare (blonde hair) and rude to all our party.

Ham and eggs very good portion. Chips could have been hotter. As it is part of the animal auction building it does smell a bit. Friendly staff. Plenty of free parking. Next to motorway junction.
