Sparkles of Sleaford

Tried for months to arrange a permanent cleaning contract. Did speak to Michelle and we arranged for her to come and visit to discuss at my home. 5 minutes from her business. She didn't turn up, I contacted again as could of been a genuine reason but no response.I am now looking for a more responsive and available cleaning service in Sleaford.

Extremely difficult to get hold of them. Having eventually managed to, and having received and agreed a quote, they said they would ring to confirm a date the next day. Eight days later and still waiting for that call, despite having left messages on their landline, sent a text to their mobile and sent them an email. If they gave me a date now, would I trust them to turn up? No! Would I be able to get in touch with them to find out why? I very much doubt it. Would I feel ok paying them the full amount 5 working days before the start date (as demanded)? Most definitely not! Full details below if you would like a bit more detail. Another interesting point, is that 4 of their 5 star review and by people with the surname Petherick; one of those is by a Jess Petherick, coincidently the same name as their Officer Manager.Tues 15th Nov. Phoned Office in office hours, but rang through to answerphone. I left a message about the moving house clean I wanted and asked that they contact me.Fri 18th Nov. No one had contacted me, so I rang the office again and spoke to Jess Petherick, who seemed competent, took all the details and said she would send a quote by email. She called me back late afternoon to check a couple of items, confirmed that they could do the clean soon after the 05 Dec to meet my timescale, and then emailed me the quote.Mon 21st. I phoned early (after the weekend) to check on an item not specifically mentioned in the quote. I spoke to Michelle who said she would get Jess to phone me back later. Jess phoned late afternoon, confirmed the item was covered, so I confirmed that I wanted content to go with their quote. Jess said she would call me no later than the end of the next day (Tues) to confirm the date they would carry out the clean. she also re-emphasised that they would require full payment 5 working days before the start date.Tues 22nd - no contact.Wed 23rd - no contact, so I phoned office midday and left a message on the answerphone.Thur 24th - no contact, so around midday, I phoned office and mobile number (no answer on either), so sent a text to their mobile number and an email to the address they had sent the quote from. My mobile rang for a few seconds around 4pm. i was driving so pulled over and rang them back within a few minutes but no answer. No message was left on my answerphone on the mobile, as I do not think it rang for long enough for the answerphone to kick in.Fri 25th - no contact.Mon 28th - no contactTues 29 - no contact

Michelle and the girls are so professional.They do a fantastic job and are so friendly and trustworthy.Love their little finishing touches and the house looks and smells gorgeous when they leave.

Michelle and Jess were really happy to talk through what I needed for my parents. The ladies carried out the cleaning and ironing to the highest standard. Cannot recommend this company enough, such a breath of fresh air to find a company who offer such a level of service and as others have said true professionalism.

I read reviews about this company before I decided to engage them even with the poor reviews. My initial engagement with them was to clean my windows, they came to the house,viewed and gave me a quote. After cleaning, they said the fee quote they gave me was less than the service provided even though they came to view the property before quoting me. The manager was super rude to me on the phone on this day.Months later, I engaged them to clean my house,the cleaners were superb but about 4 months down the line, they just stopped coming. I didn’t miss payment, in fact, I paid within minutes of receiving my invoices from them. I have been calling and messaging for weeks to understand why they have stopped coming but no response. No explanation, nothing.I will advise that you avoid them. They are unprofessional in all ramifications.

Paid in advance as the girl said on the phone if I needed the work done by Wednesday it had to be paid for by Friday. They didn't turn up. Went in on the Wednesday but only did half the job. My tenancy ended on the Wednesday. Michelle assured me that all calls were recorded and she would listen to them. Not heard anything since. They did go in the morning after and clean the carpets.

I arranged a deep clean and general cleaning when I had back surgery but I was so pleased with the job they do I have continued to use the service. The ladies are always on time, they are friendly and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone.

Everything about using the service was of a really high standard from initial contact and explanations/breakdown of works to be carried out to flexibility of availability at short notice in my case to final consciencous completion. Friendly and trustworthy team, professional and high quality attention throughout the process with particular attention to detail. I would refer in a heartbeat. Thank you again all at Sparkles.

They were very polite when I made initial enquiries and tentative arrangements, however they did not respond to my telephone calls, messages or emails after this. I therefore had to use another agency.
