Howdens - Worksop

Had a Howdens kitchen installed a while back. The Tap became faulty , after speaking to Jackie it was still within warranty. They was able to get me a replacement which arrived promptly. However the valves had to be changed as the new ones were the wrong fitment. Great customer service from Jackie and Josh and now have a new tap working fine !

Very friendly and helpful member of staff assisted us with our enquiries on units for a utility room, fire door and an internal door.

My experience is only via telephone - I needed 3 doors which had been discontinued Jackie was so helpful her customer service was amazing, she was able to secure two of the doors sizes I needed and put them on reserve.I had a courier service collect them as I live in Southampton, I have just received a call to let me know they had been collected.She could not of been more helpful - great service thank you.

Please take my honest advise a avoid the company in question, first of all i had a cowboy builder named ian morgan from worksop (has a account with Howdens worksop so please be aware he is stil working even when he says hes retired) he layed me a hearingbone floor that cost me a £1000 to purchase so not the cheapest of flooring, had all of downstairs done, it looked ok at first then after a week it started popping up and lifting up in various places all over i was shocked at this as i made sure he left expansion gaps. I was very upset this was happening (over a year know) this is still happening little bit by little bit all over. Will have to take up soon. Spoke with manager at Worksop Howdens as the joiner in question has refused me a refund and refused to come and sort his work out,manger not really bothered came across as very obnoxious and arrogant on the phone. I bet he wouldn't of spoke to me in that tone if i was there in person. I have tried endless times to sort this with Howdens and been ignored numerous times. They say they will call you back then never do. There products are not as good as people say, my floor certainly isn't. So thanks Howdens im know a £1000 out of pocket.

Went to find information about some fitted kitchen furniture. Although social distance ruling in effect, they were open for trade only and always have been 'trade only'

I’ve asked if they supply council properties . Apparently they do as the council themselves pointed me in their direction. I need a few doors replaced as I’ve just moved into an oap bungalow. This has to be done privately as it’s just cosmetic. Obviously if I wanted to replace a whole kitchen they may have replied, or even if I were male . However as I only needed a few doors it’s not worth even replying to me let alone helping me. Totally indicative of todays way of doing business. Pull your finger out Howdens, this is not acceptable

If you are a woman I would bring your husband or another male with you. The man at Reception is very belittling to women, very smirky and laughs at any questions you may have. His male ego needs sorting out along with his image. I walked in said hello, yet he ignored me. When I asked him whether the public could view, he just replied yes but gave no help. I had no idea where to go so walked into the back where the units are stored. I turned around to see him smirking about me. I don’t understand why he would smirk when his customer service skills are that poor he hasn’t directed me where to go. I had asked whether it was through the back but yet again he ignored me. He was so rude the person I was with (in the car) mentioned he was angry at how he was speaking to me and wanted to confront him. I would recommend you don’t tell him you don’t like a colour of a cabinet for some reason he gets aggressive. I can only think how he would act in a relationship as he comes across as controlling and rude. It is certainly not worth visiting as there’s hardly anything to view. Go somewhere else and get better customer service. You’ve lost my custom.
