Lancaster Escape

One of the best escape rooms we've done was here in July 2022 at Lancaster Escape.We were greeted with some brilliant brain-teasing exercises and puzzles that took some beating, and they certainly got our brains going. The availability of a bar in the entrance to the escape rooms was unexpected but of course welcomed. The cocktails we enjoyed beforehand were brilliant - what a great idea!We completed the Antidote room and were thoroughly pleased with the experience. As a group of five, I think we got through with one or two clues, which were happily provided by staff via walkie talkie. We escaped with the correct antidote with 10 mins or so to spare. The staff overall were brilliant, cheerful and very much enthusiastic. The room was well made, had lots of different types of puzzles and had great interactivity. The theming, storyline and build quality of the room overall was great, with no missing clues or issues, it was an enjoyable hour.Without spoilers, the room was a great mix of activities, and as experienced escape room-ists (if that's a thing), we were impressed and will certainly be returning to visit the other rooms on offer. Totally recommend for first timers or experienced visitors!

It was good although we only were given 60 minutes to escape. We were given a short backstory and off we went - would have been nice to have a little more direction in the beginning.

We come and do one of these escape rooms every time we are in Lancaster and have been going for nearly 5 years. The staff are very friendly and add a personal touch to your time here.The rooms are very fun and at a good difficulty level for all people. Can’t wait for a new room so we can go back.

None of us have done one before and we were a little apprehensive beforehand. Our host was absolutely fantastic, he didn't make us feel silly and really allowed us to enjoy it as much as we could. The actual set up was brilliant inside the room and we all really thoroughly enjoyed itWe will be booking again!

Played the antidote game - the host was great, the perfect balance of help without interference. It was a clever game with lots of interesting parts and many different locks etc and very cool parts. Our main problems were a lack of searching so will remember that for next time! Highly recommended!

I recently had an absolute blast at Lancaster Escape Rooms and I couldn't wait to share my experience! Our chosen room was themed around a medical experiment gone wrong, and boy, was it a thrilling adventure from start to finish.The immersion in the room was top-notch, and the theming created an atmosphere of suspense and intrigue. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt like we were part of a high-stakes scenario, racing against the clock to uncover the secrets hidden within.The puzzles in the room were just the right balance of difficulty and creativity. They challenged our minds and had us thinking critically, but they were never so hard that we felt completely stumped. Each puzzle was cleverly designed to fit seamlessly into the overarching storyline, adding an extra layer of excitement to the experience.We cannot wait to come back and try a different room!

Been here twice now and both rooms were very well thought out and clearly a lot of thought and effort has gone into them. The staff have always been amazing and super helpful and supportive, unfortunately on our second visit we had a blow out on the way and when I called to inform them we wouldn't be able to make it they allowed us to come back on another day without any additional charge which was amazing , not to mention the emergency services discount they offer too which is fab. Highly recommend to all

Had a great time doing one of the rooms here with a group of friends. Good fun and a decent challenge. Our host Georgia was great and made sure we were comfortable and had a good time. Would definitely recommend!

We went here as a party of 5, we got there a little early and was brought a selection of puzzles to do to get us started. Very nice touchThe actual escape room was very engaging and the member of staff who looked after us was very helpful and polite.Have I done better things in the dark with a group of people... ;) Maybe. But they aren't the kind of things you review on Google.Good value for money

Really enjoyed the hangman’s noose escape room. Staff were really friendly and gave us the odd clue to help us move along.Downside - could have been a “start” clue as opposed to letting us go around losing time trying to work out where to begin and they could provide a torch instead of having to use lights on our phones.BUT a great game with fun clues and our frustration when we had a clue but then realised we had been over thinking the game!Great fun and would certainly go again and try one of the other games
