decent nice fresh food from this place, halal chicken and beef is available which is a plus, everything cooked fresh so I would recommend this place as many Chinese hala places are not great and not trust worthy the previous owners were better, they need to pick up the pace with food taste and service

Okay I ordered mussels here few days ago and I couldn't even eat it because when I ate one I vomited and when I ate the second one few days later I am now literally unwell because of it was very disgusting right now I'm feeling very ill and I now just did digging to what else was the problem so I washed one mussel and there is still mud and alot of things unwashed on the shells it wasn't even clean how can this be served here

Been ordering from here for years. Under new ownership. Food is disgusting, had to throw it away. I even called up to tell them how disgusting it was. All I got was oh ok.

I ordered my meal the driver would come up the stairs to my flat because of his bike getting nicked I got the food only to find I had somebody else’s older I call the shop and the lady sent him back to me with my order I gave back the older that I opened and he was taking it to the right person even though I opted it.The food that I did older was ok the chip was still hard where they wasn’t cooked properly animal in a hole is like a microwave dinner I want children from here again I’ll stick to my regular Chinese just thought I’d try somewhere different

I enjoy the food that they provide, andn I go here often, I like that it is a family-owned business and very friendly and are very welcoming to their customers, the quality of their food is of the highest quality and tastes wonderful. I eat from here weekly, and the amount of food ×you get (see photographs), They also deliver which is very handy when you are not able to get there. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Chinese takeaway. The Lucky Star is still one of the best Chinese takeaways in London, the food is fantastic

Everything was so lovely and cheap definitely recommended for chinese food if you are around the area. Enjoy the free delivery for over GBP 13.00. Got the vegetables rice noodles, special fried rice, spicy sea aubergine, chicken bun and har kau. I personally dont like chicken bun well definitely the char siu gonna be better. The har kau was super good. Look at those portions for GBP 4.80 though each of them. Crazy right! Definitely recommended!!

Really feel like the quality of the food has gone down hill. Last order was beef in black bean sauce, special friend rice and a pot of curry sauce. Everything tasted old and rancid. Couldn't stomach any of it and this hasn't been the first time receiving old food from new lucky star. Major regret but I won't be ordering from here again.
