Last 3 orders have been overcooked chips, this gives them a slightly burned taste, my scampi was burned last time which ruined the meal, Portion sizes are smaller with food crammed into small polystyrene packaging so hardly any chips. I ordered a portion of regular chips separate instead of as a meal and still got a tiny portion which is not good for sharing and makes it more expensive. Delivery usually takes up to 2 hours but on occasion has been an hour.

Normally very very good but I think because we went at a busy time, although the food was fresh it wasn’t as nice as normal. But that isn’t their fault it was busy and bonfire night put extra pressure on them. Still highly recommended!

Been to the Trident Fish Bar quite a few times now. The staff are always friendly and polite. You can eat in or takeaway, also you can order online and either have it delivered or pick it up yourself. Love the chips from here, best in Runcorn. Food is priced good and super tasty. Has good parking to.

Just had a order delivered .Worse meal I have had .Chips curry sauce and a chop suey roll..My Wife had fish chip mushy peas . The fish was ok .The chop seuy roll had no chop seuy in it just mush .The chips were dry and greasy and luke .warm .threw 80% awayAbsolutely disappointing would recommend you go else where far better takeaways in the area..Will never use this takeaway again .Be warned

Took an hour and half to have delivered, was just dialling their number when the food was delivered.I knew delivery would be an hour but when you start getting past the 1.5 hour mark there should be a text service warning you of the delay. Food ok never had issues with food just delivery tends to be very slow

Had 3 drinks delivered with the meal. None were correct. Called up, apparently they had none of what we'd requested in stock so provided what they deemd best. We don't like anything they've sent. I asked why they didn't call before to advise us, was they're too busy to do that (provide customer service). When I repeated that I've paid for something and they've given us something different, they've said they'll try and send someone to fix it (no idea how if they don't have it and they didn't take an alternative) but they have no Idea when. Poor customer service all round, poor stock mananage /website linking, and they have the audacity to ask for tip up front which stupidly I did (I will never do this on any service I see it on again).

I've tried tried & tried to like and support this chip shop but the chips just seem undercooked every single time! Need to change the chef or ingredients/ oil as there quite disgusting really ps. Don't dare walk past the fryers you'll have a shock of your life the colour of the cooking oil I've never seen anything like it

I visited trident fist bar back when it first opened and really didn't like the chips or fish, but over time I have been told it's changed.Trident fish bar is located near the Cineworld on Trident Retail Park. There is loads of parking available including disabled parking at the front of the fish bar. There is also a seating area out for for the nice sunny days.I visited to order some salt and pepper chips and a chicken burger for me and my partner. The chips were amazing, super crunchy and had loads of flavour. However the burger was very greasy and I could heavily taste it in every bite. There must be a better was to cook the chicken.The staff were amazing and happy to help and talk to me. They helped me with my order as I haven't been there in a long time and were very polite.I would really love to see the trident fish bar continue to improve, but I will definitely be back for them salt and pepper chips!

Finding what looked like a piece of tooth in your sausage is enough to make you not go back there ( it could have been plastic) but still I swallowed some of what it was. So that's a health risk, on top of that bad experience some of the chips were raw too... Lost a customer, I'd advise getting a better supplier of sausages.

Won’t be getting fish and chips from them again, the order was wrong ,and the fish and chips were stone cold by the time it was delivered, very disappointing because we usually get a nice meal,they must have been old chips been kept warm, ☹️☹️
