Defender Campers

We had the most amazing long weekend in Cherry Belle. This was our first trip with defender campers, and it was epic! Dan and Leanne showed us around the fully stocked Land Rover, and brought us up to speed with all the kit, as we’d not driven one before. They gave us great ideas for camping and we stayed at 2 beautiful sites on exmoor. We drove through a river so had an area of poolbridge campsite all to ourselves. The roof tent was perfect and spacious for 4 of us, and our girls loved sleeping up there. We had fires, went to the beach, and explored the moor. We felt like true adventurers, until we had to come back to reality. Thanks defender campers for the trip of a lifetime! We’ll definitely be back!

Went to Dartmoor for 2 nights with two friends and rented Blue Belle. We had the best time! The car was perfect. Great cooking facilities with everything you would need and a comfortable nights sleep.Dan was amazing with the hire, on hand for any questions throughout the trip and gave a thorough run through of the vehicle when we hired it.I can’t recommend enough!

We hired Blue Belle for a long weekend and had a fantastic time! The owners were extremely kind and helpful, and the car was perfect for a weekend exploring Exmoor. Even in November, would highly recommend!

We had a great long weekend in Exmoor with Silver Belle from Defender Campers. Communication was great from Dan both before and throughout our hire - including some great recommendations for camping spots in and around Exmoor. The Defender had all the equipment you need to just jump in and go - a great alternative to camping or the usual bnb holiday. We look forward to our next booking!

What. An. Experience.My husband surprised me with a birthday weekend trip away with Defender Campers and we spent 3 nights away, with our dog, in BlueBelle.I genuinely can’t put into words how excellent the whole experience was, we had a fantastic welcome and an in-depth hand over of the vehicle and we knew that Dan and Leanne were on hand if we needed anything for the duration of our trip. We used some of the site recommendations on the website and they did not disappoint.My husband loved driving Blue and we had such a laugh, we loved being able to pull over anywhere we wanted and just have a cuppa or some lunch, with the back door open to enjoy the view.I would absolutely 100% reccomend defender campers and we are 100% already looking to rebook again for august in Cherrybelle (with our daughter this time too!).Thank you Defender Campers, I have a feeling you’ll be seeing us many more times!Rochelle, Tom and Lilly dog!

We had a brilliant trip around Cornwall in Blue Belle.Great fun to drive and easy to swap from driving to night mode. Group of 4 with a dog fit comfortably for both travel and sleep.Pick up and drop off was easy and Dan was a great communicator.Thank you!

I’ve wanted a Defender for as long as I can remember - so a trip in Blue Belle from Defender Campers did a stirling job of helping me tick that box. We took BB to a music festival - she was absolutely magnificent and widely admired by festival go’ers! . We had absolutely everything we needed, we loved driving her and she took the wild weather completely in her stride, as you might expect!What a brilliant business Dan has built and how lucky are we to have Defender Campers on our doorstep! Dan is deeply knowledgeable about his fleet and took us through a thorough walk-round and how to get the most out of the Defender. Beyond that, we just cracked on - but had the reassurance of knowing we could get in touch if needed whilst we were away.We’ll be going on another adventure as soon as we can - thanks Dan, terrific!

Can't recommend this experience enough to anyone who's considering booking. We went down to Exmoor on a 3 day break from London and loved every second of it. Dan and the team were incredibly accommodating and truly go the extra step to make sure you have a great time. The car comes fully kitted out with everything you could need on a camping holiday. We chose to follow one of their itineraries listed on the website which made for a really simple trip and ensured we found some of the best local spots.This is a must do experience for anyone who enjoys the outdoors/camping or classic land rovers

Went to North Devon and rented the Retro Land Rover 110 TD5 Silver Belle for some surfing and camping. Fantastic motor, what a great experience! Would highly recommend :)

Amazing experience with Defender Campers. We hired Cherry for a 3-day competition with my daughters pony, so took our own new Defender and Cherry, up to Chepstow.Booking was easy, communication excellent and all the ID documents were done online beforehand.When we collected (with pony in tow), Dan gave us a comprehensive, but speedy intro to the basics and how to deploy and stow the tent and awning.Cherry had everything we needed. Chairs, table, cups, cutlery - you name it. A really efficient fridge and the roof tent had so much room and was super-comfortable.we had no issues with the tent or awning - easy to use.We really enjoyed our weekend with Cherry and would recommend these guys to anyone with a passion for defenders, or if you’re looking for a fun weekend off-grid.
