I joined Amanda for pilates classes several years ago and I am still getting attending as I gain so much out of my weekly sessions. She is always professional, fun and friendly whilst teaching us and I have noticed a real improvement in balance, flexibility and specific issues such as stiff shoulders and hips. The six week programmes are tailored to our requirements and everyone has the opportunity to target an area they would like to improve. I thoroughly recommend Pilates classes with Amanda.

I joined Amanda’s Pilates classes some years ago to help improve flexibility and posture. It’s given me so much more than that and made me aware of how closely the mind and body work to help your general wellbeing. Flexibility improves and it’s really good for core muscles and your alignment, working at your own pace . Amanda makes the lessons fun as well as giving good feedback and I would highly recommend her Pilates classes

I wanted to try Pilates as I had increasing muscle stiffness and back problems. Amanda spent considerable time in a 1:1 checking out my issues and taking me through the basic moves before I started a class. I was nervous but she couldn't have made me more welcome. She has been really encouraging while gently improving my range of movements and flexibility. My stiffness has almost completely gone away and my flexibility is steadily improving, with reduced back symptoms. I really like her approach in ensuring correct placement and posture and she has really improved my body awareness! A massive difference to the way I feel - thank you

We were very impressed with your knowledge and expertise and you had obviously recognised our needs.We enjoyed using the equipment which was not only beneficial but heightened awareness of our body movements which really helps make a difference.There wasn’t anything we didn’t appreciate (some exercises quite hard but that’s the point!) and we both felt you had put us on the right track for the future.Many thanks.

Pilates has been so good for my general well-being, since I began my balance and general flexibility are so much improved I used to be quite stiff with lots of lower back aches but these have all but disappeared and I move much more freely. Stomach muscles now much stronger which helps with everyday lifting and working as well as looking better.Amanda is a great teacher who adapts movements if and w hen necessary to individual needs also very encouraging.

I have been attending Amanda's classes since 2018 following a back injury. I have arthritis and Amanda's classes really help my hip. Amanda is a patient teacher who really gets to know her clients, even though since Covid many of us have been attending online via Zoom. Don't be put off, as this works so well. Amanda really can watch what you are doing through this medium.For me as a business owner, the fact I don't have to stop to drive to a hall and can attend to work immediately following a class, is a real bonus - greener too.I always try to 'ring-fence' my Pilates class because I know how much it helps me to retain flexibility in spite of my arthritis - last session I was in pain and could easily have decided not to attend. But Amanda helped me through the initial warm-up exercises. By the end of the session I didn't have pain and could move more easily - why wouldn't I keep doing this!!Off to my next class now.

Pilates with Amanda has transformed my life in a totally positive way! I have fewer aches and pains, significantly improved my general range of movement, gained a greater awareness and understanding of how my body 'works' and what I can do to relieve or correct problems such as a stiff back or tense shoulders. Amanda listens carefully to clients and tailors her exercises and sessions sensitively to address specific needs and make a truly positive difference to how people move and feel. The sessions are focused but always fun, with gentle encouragement to achieve improvement in movement and balance. Amanda's patient instruction, imaginative explanations and dedicated professionalism mean that what might seem challenging at the beginning of a block of lessons, can be achieved just 6 weeks later with lots of fun, encouragement and enjoyment on the way. I make time to do pilates between classes because it makes me move and feel so much better. I cannot recommend Amanda and her pilates classes highly enough!
