The hospital and my room were very clean. I had my own room with bathroom. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. My person needs were taken into account. The whole stay was good, my surgery went well and I was well looked after.

Everyone I met at the hospital were great, friendly, helpful and informative. I had high expectations and they were met. The one thing you could improve is the speed of the WiFi at The Edgbaston Hospital, it is the only area which under performed.

I was treated very well at the hospital. From the receptionist to lovely Pam who was my pre op nurse. Can’t speak highly enough of how I was treated. Made to feel relaxed and was explained everything in in-depth detail.

My consultant and the team were fantastic. However the gastroscope and the backup both were not working. I had my colonoscopy but could not have my gastroscopy because the equipment was not working. This is not acceptable given I had been referred urgently by my GP to rule out cancer. If I had stayed on the NHS I would have had both done by now, I chose to go private, and as a result of your institutions failure I now have a delay in my investigation causing me more anxiety, as the not knowing is the worst thing when it comes to concerning diagnosis.

This was my first time being in hospital so was very nervous as I did not know what to expect. The staff that I encountered were brilliant they made feel really relaxed and had all the answers to my questions which gave me a lot of confidence in there abilities to do a good job. The whole experience was great even though I'd just been cut open and was out of it for a while, the staff were very helpful and happy in what they were doing which helps so much as a patient as we a nervous enough with the procedure that were taking place, that just helped ease the nerves. I would like to thank all that were involved in my operation and thanks for the after care received it was brilliant.

Yesterday I had a surgical procedure under Mr Dhaliwal. The initial consultation was most informative and I was pleased to note that we were able to explore all the surgical & treatment options. In the day, the Reception experience was easy and particularly friendly, as was the gentleman who took me to my room (which was immaculate).I must acknowledge the care I received from:Sue, my nurse - calm and knowledgeable - great attention to detail.Lenda, the HCA who escorted me to theatre - good luck on your career path. The OPD, who received me, said all the right things (and held my hand) - you know who you are.The anaesthetist who was quietly very informative throughout the pre-medNot to forget the really nice smile I got from the two staff members on Reception as I left.Great team, Mr Dhaliwal.I have a long career in healthcare commissioning and have often worked alongside the CQC and other regulatory bodies in monitoring healthcare quality. My experience was exemplary - well done, Edgbaston Hospital.

Very friendly and welcoming, from the reception to the end of procedure and walking out of the hospital! The doctor was very friendly and very informative while doing the procedure. Although, I was a bit nervous, but I was given confidence and positivity by the whole team. Excellent experience!

The Edgbaston Hospital
I loved my time in Edgbaston Hospital. (Even during the pre-op assessment at The Priory when blood was drawn and an EEG was done, etc., I felt in good hands. I was seen promptly despite having come very late for my appointment, the staff was uniformly cheerful and chatty, and I had a great time.)Every single member of the Edgbaston Hospital staff seemed motivated to be friendly and efficient. They talked to me about how I was feeling, how my family was doing in my absence, what it was like living in Bermuda, and so on, and the sound of laughter in my room was a constant when anybody was tending to my needs, whether delivering my food, taking my blood pressure, cleaning the room, or just generally ensuring I was comfortable and content. Emese, Kris, Hannah, Marie, Magda, Jess, Martin, Mandy, Sue, Doreen, Tabia, Kendell - they were all wonderfully compassionate and competent people and I actually miss them.
